Didn't Control also had an interaction symbol, such that I had to push the backspace to 'choose' it (which is silly, as my Shepard is magically going there on his own, and can't go back again).

Why did you choose Control?

For science!

Well, as long as you did it For Science! and not because you think control is absolutely awesome like Paxxton does.

Shepards (Hales) reaperized voice is hawt.

For Science! and For Sexiness! are always valid reasons.

This is what I was looking for...

With the Leviathan on our side, maybe we pull this thing off after all.

It's not The Harbinger. Or The Sovereign.

Shorthand for "The Leviathan of Dis."

I closed my eyes when my customized Shepard did the deeds of touching flashing handles or jumping down into energy beams.

But since Synthesis offered the most emotional epilogue, I was quite pleased with me trying it. Control just made Shepard joining the ranks of other indoctrinated individuals. No interest in that.

Of course, Destroy is still a favorite, but it's now a tough battle for #1 between Destroy and Refuse.

hmm there is an oddity with the Destroy Conduit (apart from naming it Conduit, just like the Beam, like you destroy the Beam) when you don't aim at it directly it shows up as an object you could interact with:

So the choice lockdown is stil present in the EC?

Yes.

What's the "choice lockdown"? You mean if you walk close enough you can't go back?

Yes, at least in Destroy. In Synthesis a cinematic kicks in if you go far enough.

I am also thinking Harby is saying Cerberus rather than serve us, save us, or join us.

I just listened to that file 20 times, and I didn't Cerberus even once. It sounded like "Se-erve Us," "Serve with Us," or "Service Us" to me.

So Harby either thinks Shep is a Reaper mechanic or is asking for sexual favors?

Lol this is a great thing to see first thing when I check this thread :P

It fits my current theory that Harbinger is actually in love with Shepard but doesn't know how to tell her/him.Posted Image

I'm not sure if this is significant, but I remember reading in the Leviathan DLC text something about the Leviathan deserving the same punishment as the devil, or something along those lines. It seems that hell is somewhat of a theme here, as we are assuming the Leviathan referred to in this DLC is also the Leviathan of Dis, which basically means the beast from hell.

Edit: It sounds like something along the lines of a "fallen" Reaper. I guess Reapers are angels.

And when Harby tried to make a move by kidnapping Shepard in Arrival, she rejected him and escaped. He was too embarrassed to talk to her again after that.

Poor Harby. Kidnapping your love interest worked for Han Solo, why cant it work for him?

I posted about this earlier, if Harby shouts "Save Us", then it's really a double play.

The Catalyst is their collective consciousness (apparently).Harby is torn; his duty is to indoctrinate you, but he wants to be free of this nonsense. I think in Leviathan we learn more about this from the rogue Reaper, who maybe reveals that Harby wants the same thing, to be free.

Shepard hears this, and knows that the only option in Starscene (Harbingers Indoctrination Construct) is to choose Destroy.

The collective consciousness (aka the Catalyst) has to provide you with option to continue the cycle, as that's His solution (jump into his shiny beam and become Reapered); he is unaware (or only slightly aware) of Harbingers defection.

If you choose to fight the indoctrination, Harby offers you a way out; Shoot at the Red thing that looks mysteriously like me, and it'll symbolise your greater will, and the indoctrination will break.
Go on to defeat (aka free) the Reapers from their hell.

Javik in Leviathan: (paraphrased): "their greatest hell is sending them back to the abyss they came from..."

It's an ironic and artistic ending, because all through the Trilogy we're told the Reapers are trying to free us through our destruction; really it's them who will be freed through their destruction.
O.o

Hm...I misphrased that, terribly. What I probably meant was that Shepard was speaking in character with Saren, or at least the way I asociated it with.

Which is probably wrong, as Saren intentions where more altrustic. Or at least, as far as altruism goes with forcing genetic mutaiton on everyone.

I think I even saw a dialogue with something like "with leviathan we might pull this off after all" that has to add something to the ending

just to add to that, I recall seeing dialogue involving starbinger, being able to ask him even more questions. not like he's gonna give shep a straight answer without heavy SPACE MAGIC. : /

where the frick is harbinger anyway? he just says maybe SERVE US it sounds like, zaps shep, and flies away and he's never ever seen again, not even in the cutscenes.

they have keith szarabajka doing voice over for "additional voices".. why didn't harbinger say anythign??
