Indeed. The moment it hits you, it should be leaving Harbys chest. But you clearly see it making it's way towards you. 

Reapers beams have never done that before. 

Oh wait, the only other time a Reapers beam didn't make a noise...

Hmm.  Has anyone tried pitch-shifting Starbinger's dialogue?  Because honestly I can't imagine a child recording those lines, and it doesn't sound quite right (even ignoring the two Shepard echos).

While I find that that was clearly a child (there are good child voice actors out there) and don't know if it's technically even possible to simulate a child's voice by pitch shifting, I find your idea intriguing.

BioWare: Look, everyone despises your character, so we just wont tell anyone your name to help you out a little.

VoiceChild: You cant help me...

BioWare: Look! That didnt make sense when you said it in Vancouver and it doesnt make sense now!

That's what I first thought, though after someone pointed it out several days ago all I hear now is "Serve Us." Anybody know how to clean this up or something so we can get some sort of confirmation?

Also he pretty much evaporate everyone with his beam, except the time he hits you. It doesn't evaporate the squads he hits, before it reaches you.

We cleaned it up a few pages back. 

The most interesting thing is that played backwards, he says Shepard.

I don't want to hear "save us," but that is what I hear. 

Of course you are...because you read it first here. What everyone should've done for a proper analysis, is let everyone come up with their own interpretation and then see if the opinions converge to a single result, like 'serve us'.

Didn't someone say that the Catalyst had a total of four voices? The kid's, both Male an Fem Shep, and another, deeper, and more sinister voice. This was before EC, but I don't think they would have change that. Also, listening through some of Starbrat's lines, there's *definitely* a male voice hidden in there that isn't Meer's.
