We cleaned it up a few pages back.
The most interesting thing is that played backwards, he says Shepard.
...really?
Honestly, I could 'almost' hear him say Shepard before he says Serve Us

He took that name because when he anonymously published his Cerberus manifesto, it was derided as 'survivalist rhetoric written by an illusive man,' so he took the idea and ran with it.

I don't think there's a 4th voice. The EC just made Meer's way louder.Lokanaiya wrote...
Didn't someone say that the Catalyst had a total of four voices? The kid's, both Male an Fem Shep, and another, deeper, and more sinister voice. This was before EC, but I don't think they would have change that. Also, listening through some of Starbrat's lines, there's *definitely* a male voice hidden in there that isn't Meer's.

I think this related to the fact that people only "saw" him as an quantumly entangled pair (space hologram).

You can an odd extra voice when he says "But you have to choose".

I'm not sure if this is significant, but I remember reading in the Leviathan DLC text something about the Leviathan deserving the same punishment as the devil, or something along those lines. It seems that hell is somewhat of a theme here, as we are assuming the Leviathan referred to in this DLC is also the Leviathan of Dis, which basically means the beast from hell.
Edit: It sounds like something along the lines of a "fallen" Reaper. I guess Reapers are angels.
...doing the Catalyst's work...oh, please no...
Yeah really. One of my biggest problems (as go for many I would guess) with the ending is the Catalyst. The way he is explained we might as well remove any blame from the Reapers...you know who we have fought for 2 and 0.99/1 games...and placing it all on him since he is in control.
Sovereign and Harbinger never made any hints towards this, they seemed perfectly in control of thier actions. And frankly that is how I want to face the Reapers. let me blow a bullet (from a very big gun) down Reapers spine one by one and know that ever time I pull the trigger I am avenging countless and countless deaths caused by their twisted minds as well as preventing countless more from happening.
Dont heap it all on a last second "main villian" with little to know build up and remove the demonity from the Reapers, just dont.
I don't know where you got that from anything I said...but okay. I'm just saying that based on the name and dialogue, this "Leviathan" sounds like a pretty bad dude.
If this is some sort of "fallen" Reaper, it would be so from the Reapers' perspective, as they seem to feel their conquest is righteous. I've seen a few stories that portray "heavenly" forces as being evil in a way by doing anything for the sake of order.
Deep, actually, the idea being that The Harbinger and The Vanguard are still fuilfilling their righteous duty of slaughtering the lesser beings, whereas the Leviathan chose instead to defect, becoming a traitor to their ways... interesting.

That's great, thanks. Even in the Cerberus logs on Cronos, most of the time he's appearing as a hologram to the scientists working on Lazarus, EDI, and EVA.

Illusive is a word, though. It's not a combination of elusive and something else.

Sorry, wasn't meant that way.
If you were the first one, then that's fine, but for me, who didn't start interpretating it on my own, it's very suggestive when first read, then heard again.
It's like it's suggested in those conspiracy videos that claim that when Britney's singles are played backwards, you can hear satanic messages. But the viewer is first told what it's assumed to mean, and then it's played to them, so that they will very likely come to the same conclusion.
That was my point, not hostile at all. Sorry again.
