I see everybody talking about the possibly Leviathan DLC, now i don't have the time to read much because I'll have to leave again, so if this has already been said excuse me.

What if, by finding Leviathan we find some way to break the reapers / help the reapers break free from Starchilds control? (Assuming harbinger really does say "save us" this would make a lot of sense.)
Then, with the gained knowledge, when facing the ending we have the option of somehow helping the reapers break free from Starchilds control, so that each Reaper can live within his own free will.

I think, if pulled off correctly this would make for one hell of a DLC.

I want the Reapers, all the Reapers to die, blow up, crumble in to little pieces why do so many want to understand them? Do you want to understand and ally with the Ridley Scott's Alien Creature? no you want to obliterate them before they make you a host. What I think alot of the so called hard core fans forget is that the Reapers are exaclty what they are in Mass Effect 1 EVIL, THE BAD GUYS, THE ALIEN THAT CARES FOR NOTHING EXCEPT THEIR OWN AND ALL AND EVERYTHING ELSE MUST DIE. A Reaper ally? get outta here!!!! Biofail continues to fail

Meh the NewGamePlus save tells me that all teammates die if you choose Opt Out.
I guess this cycle is really doomed then.
And yes, EDI dies in destroy.

What do you mean?

If you either shoot the Child thingy or not pick anything everyone dies.

How'd you check that, going through the files to see what's flagged on a NewGame+?

Yes.

Oh, thanks for checking then. The result is a bit disappointing though. I wish they'd done Refuse like the other endings. They wouldn't even have to add anything else, just have it based on EMS so things were flagged differently in NG+.

I'm a little confused. I've never looked through any files :P. So you're saying in the files when you start a new game it says everyone dies? Sorry in advance.

Yes, they basically save the state of the game at the end when the datapad pops up. In Control in my savegame anyone but Kaidan (died on Virmire) is alive, in Destroy anyone but Kaidan and EDI is alive, and in Opt Out everyone is dead.

Huh. Insomniak9 is right. That seems like useless info if nothing happens after it.

What if you found out from Leviathan that by killing the Reapers, you would be saving them from their own eternal hell?

You've already helped just about every other species in the galaxy, why not go Universal and save the lot?

:o

Also, pyramids are hurting my brain again :crying:

The only reason why I think the IT is still factual, and is what Bioware from the beginningis because they did not change the Shepard in the rubble scene. In the EC, they could have made it seeml like Shepard was in more Citadel like rubble sorrounding,.
Why put out new DLCs that do not add to t the ending.?

When you start a NG+ it flags all of the choices you made in the file you imported so you can check what choices it thinks you made once you've saved by going through the game files. It can only be done on PC.

It's kind of weird it matters what choices you made if you're doing it again but w/e. How do you look through them anyway?

Hex editor.

Where did you download it? I'm kind of new at this.

I didn't get this option, but I saw someone on youtube tell the Reaper on Ramnoch that I am not sure what you were, but rest in peace.

So, remind me again, why is a NewGame+ save storing data such as who is dead, if there's nothing after ME3?

Maybe for a second ME3 playthrough with ME3 character import.

A new playthrough in which you're all alone because everyone dies in the future? :pinched:

Maybe it computes something for the new playthrough based on who died in the last.

Hey guys, forgive me but what is this about Harbinger saying "save us"? I don't remember that. Is it in the EC somewhere?
I've been gone for days, so I'm clueless as to any new information discovered. So what's up?

Yes, it's in the revised scene just as Harbinger fires the beam and knocks out Shepard. It's a matter of contention what he's actually saying. I don't want to prejudice you as people tend to hear what they expect to hear. Have a listen and tell us what you think it is.

No, it just uses the default save code, and that also saves your squad, which is dead.

It's irrelevant though. Are you suggesting some kind of deja vu?

That'd be even more weird than an invisible kid telling you to jump into a beam of cleansing light O.o

MegumiAzusa might be right about the default save code.

It it entirely possible its for Mass Effect 4, and is merely saving who lives and dies to continue the story.

Doesn't require Shepard to be alive for it. But the other crewmates might play a part.

Speculations though.
