They were working on including a scene where the player loses control over Shepard due to indoctrination. They threw that out. They didn't say they didn't throw out the concept of indoctrinating Shepard. So we got the TIM/Anderson scene. Then again, maybe we got more.v0rt3x22 wrote...

That's only if you don't want her tentacles in your mind.
True, but I don't think I'll ever regard tentacles as anything but creepy, even if I did like her. Creepy statement is creepy...

Any one have the image of the App that talks about the indoctrination game mechanic handy?
And the dialogue that is being referred to that you are asking about comes from the DLC info that was found in the EC files...I'll see if I can find a link to enlighten you.

Gamble seems like the kind of guy who's on the level (Well, as on the level as any of the devs.), I get the feeling that he was telling the truth about that one. Also, I HIGHLY doubt that the EC is what he was talking about. That wasn't enough to make me love ME3 forever. What IS enough to make me love ME3 forever is, you probably guessed it, IT.

My guess is that they won't reveal IT at SDCC, but that they will talk about the leaked Earth MP pack, and the Leviathan pack, maybe with some wink wink, nudge nudge kind of stuff for IT (It would be really funny if ANOTHER BW rep was the one who brought up IT like at PAX.). I'm also guessing that the Leviathan pack will end up containing some kind of clue, something to wet our appetites and keep us speculating (Wasn't there something in the dialogue that hinted that Shep's crew was concerned that he might be indoctrinated out of it?).
Seriously? Dialogue by the crew? Never heard of this.
I did go through some interesting ME2 stuff where shep says about some other ppl: "they were hearing things, seeing things. They were being indoctrinated."
But yea even if IT isn't true - I think BW wants to uphold the fiction that it could be true.
I did play through the endings again while looking at it in a literal form - and they do seem to work both ways.
Just that in both viewpoints there are open questions which can only really be explained through "IT"
There is still a fundamental problem with literal ending; Continuation within the ME universe, regardless of the protagonist.
Divergence. You cannot have three different universes. Only one can be canon. This is why I think NONE of the endings are real - save Refuse, which is a flat out loss due to inaction; not destroying the indoc. beacon at the 'beam' site. It's a loss right up there with Synthesis without the fancy mindwarp slide show to make organic Shep and player thing everything is sunshine and roses.

I think the DLC is going to change the context of the ending without physically changing the endings.
For instance, would people's decisions about the end choices change if they knew whether a Reaper could go rogue or not?

I still wonder why Mike Gamble pretty much lied about EC not having a new ending (at Pax) but maybe it wasn't planned at that point.
Eh, technically we don't have a new ending. Refuse simply visualizes the "run down the clock" component of the Citadel sequence in an interesting manner---though, the shoot-the-catalyst addition was a nice touch.

I suspect Leviathan is organic. It's not a reaper. It may actually be a cuddle fish looking organic. Reference of the Thorian and Liara saying something about a tentacle monster lends to this.

Not slamming, educating. I didn't mean for it to be an aggressive stab, just helping.

On the contrary, it helps us all get better at things if we're corrected from time to time, or else we will keep doing things incorrectly.
