I don't know if this has been mentioned, but you know the part when Shepard jerks awake on the citadel, I could swear the odd sound is a defibrillator.

KIA Leng sounds like a model of a car.

It sounds more as an opening door in the original DOOM.

Then a weird message (something about to visit Shephard at hospital) from Ashley would make a lot of sense...

Wow. Illiteracy FTW.

So, has anyone mentioned that in the very first scene, we think we are seeing an Alliance Craft flying around Earth, but the quick reveal is that the Almighty Star Kid is playing with it.

He's been playing with your mind since Frame 1.

Is this foreshadowing of his mind-games in the final Act? Methinks so.

If it had been established beforehand that Shep had a defibrillator implanted in her, I'd be fine with that, but it hasnt been.

Randomly showing Shep having a defib implanted would be like if she had been tied to a boulder and thrown into the ocean, but revealing that its okay, because she has artificial gills as part of her implants.

Yep it doesn't but hay I could have said

KIABCS Leng

Kiled in action by Commander Shepard

Also is it just me or is Paragon a bad influence on Indoctrinated people because they commit sucide if you pick paragon path dialogue.

Yeah.......... Everyone kills kai leng, if they didn't kill him, then they have not completed the game.

Don't know, never played DOOM, but the scene struck me as someone being revived using a defib.

Id like a literalist's take on this question: Why does the catalyst, a several billion year old AI, come in the form of a child seen only by Shepard?

If the events inside the citadel were real, there would be absolutely no reason for the AI to appear as that child. The AI could have appeared in any form and still convinced Shepard it was an AI. After all, whose to say what this AI looks like?

The fact that this AI, who claims to be the collective intelligence of the reapers, appears as a boy Shepard saw, should raise a lot of suspicion. It's proof that the reapers are in Shepard's head, screwing with her thoughts.

^ this

Thank you.

Either the reapers implanted the image of the kid or they got the image from Shepard's mind.

But, however, it happened, they were inside his head poking around.  Why stop at just extraction?  Why not inception?  :-p

Inception definitely. Even before the brat "dies" he's doing some pretty trippy things which strongly suggest he's not real. Clevernoob pointed these out near the beginning of his second vid.

I'm not saying Shepard is implanted with a defib, but our original hypothesis of I.T is that Shepard never made it to the citadel, could Shepard be fighting for his/her life with medics trying to revive him/her.

What? You never played DOOM? Heathen! :P

So, that final level on the Citadel could've looked something like this? (If you are under the age of playing DOOM, then don't watch this)

No get it byne. If the good guy is trying to tell the bad guy is wrong buy speakes to the bad guy that is Indoctrinated that you can still fight this they end up with a gun to there head. That alone is funny because I thought Paragon was good but I guess it was renegade in the end of Mass Effect three.

That was a joke.

I loved playing Doom with the Simpsons Mod.

For those that missed that - you were Homer Simpson killing other Simpsons characters.  Instead of health and ammo you had beer and cholesterol.  LOL!!  Loved it!!

Oh, I thought you were just agreeing with Epyon's idea that Shep has an internal defib implanted in her.

Does anyone think that the way time flows so disjointedly in the Destroy epilogue is meant to be a clue that it's a dream?

The slides depict events that have to take place in the months and years ahead, such as rebuilding the citadel. We then cut back to the crashed Normandy, which for the sake of argument is a few days after the battle. Finally we cut even further back to Shepard in the rubble, which has to be in the immediate aftermath of the explosion.

Dreams are famous for being disjointed in time. Or am I doing the classic mistake of cherry picking evidence to suit the conclusion I want to be true?

Well if Bioware says the Breah scene is on Earth which you can tell it is then IT has some hope left after all and somebody needs to get CleverNoob on this site.
