Starbrat = Sovereign? For me his voice (SO BE IT path, etc) sounds like Sovereign's. Maybe he doesn't die and somehow upload himself into the Citadel? I know - another crazy theory, yes. But, I can not forget this:
“I am Sovereign. And this station is MINE!”

Wow... THIS is a very interesting thought... Just wow

You know....IT or not - I think the entire idea of the crucible is poorly conceived.
When you're at the brink of extinction - I don't see how you have time to gather all the races (and all the materials) to build a gigantic space structure.

You mean when he humped the Presidium Tower? Maybe bratchild (I've given up with him now) is Sovereign's baby?

This, is Reaper lovemaking in action! Bounchikabowwow

Hey, I remember that somebody found the script of Citadel scene with Anderson and TIM, where Anderson never talks to TIM and Shepard is listed as a listener throughout the whole scene. Was it changed in EC, if not, for me it's the biggest hint, even bigger than breath scene itself.

If Anderson never talked to TIM, who was Shepard listening to? :crying:

Yea I read that too.

The most interesting part about this script is: When Anderson Says: "Listen to yourseld, you're indoctrinated.", Shepard is listed as a listener. So Anderson in fact talking to Shepard. I'm just wondering was this one fake? If not IT is pretty much inevitable.

That's... AMAZING!  To quote the end child, "Did that all really happen?"

Well both TIM and Anderson talk to Shepard and never to each other. If I remember correctly, as I said it was before EC.

Anderson says "You're indoctrinated"...and if he's not speaking to TIM, it is evidence of IT

Yeap, this is why I'm wondering was this one fake and if not was it changed in EC.

The galaxy is a big place. The Reapers for all their strength cant hit everywhere at once and have to go about it systematically, taking and annihilating one world at a time.

I think Liara said that she estimated it would take the Reapers a century to finish this cycle completely, the Protheans took several centuries.

What makes you rule out Harbinger?

Starchild is voiced by Mark Meer for the line "So be it."

Sounds plausible.  And it even had three years to come up with the plan!

No, by Peter Jessop. Anyway, that idea about Sovereign sneakily uploading himself to the Citadel sounds great.

Still doesn't explain how Sovereign knows to appear to Shep as the child.

Unless, he's in Sheps head. Oh yeah...

If Sovereign uploaded itself to the Citadel, the cycle would be over. It would have opened the Citadel and activated the relay long before ME3 takes place and would have rendered ME2 and the collectors completely unnecessary.

Bioware keep saying they will not change the endings the EC is final...... is this possible though?

there is extra locked content in the EC that will trigger different scenes in the endings with future DLC including this leviathan DLC people keep talking about? my wishful thinking is to either aide the IT or the refuse conventional victory theory :)

although the above would change some endings, Bioware wouldn't be lieing as if the theory is true, then the EC is unchanged as the content was always there with the download. :)

Maybe he saved himself to a hard disk and no one executed his code. That way there was no way for him to act.

It's a moot point anyway considering you could ask the same question about the starkid. And more questions.

Well if we take the endings literally, the Starchild could open the Citadel in ME3 or activate the Relay in ME1 regardless who/what the Starchild really is...

You know if you don't do anything, you still get the Crucible has been destroyed message, and have to restart the game. I thought it would switch to the refuse epilogue.

To be honest with you - I don't buy it.

BioWare have said that they won't release anymore  DLCs that will address the ending - but (correct me if I'm wrong) - they have never said they won't release post-ending DLC - and even if they don't - here are my thoughts:

BioWare have already said that they will support the game with additional content over the next year.

And Mass Effect is a very succesful franchise - you can bet your money on the fact that we will get another game.

So that leaves us with two possibilities:

a) I could see BioWare doing a bunch of DLCs - and then doing a bridge DLC like Arrival - which will tie in to the next game (but this possibility takes into consideration that Shepard will remain the protagonist).

B) If Shepard isn't in the next game (which I highly doubt, due to the breathing scene) - we could see him appear in only bridge DLC - and then the next game would start off with a new character.

I think that in early pre-release interviews (i.e. when the Reapers were still just harvesting) it was stated that ME3 would wrap up Shep's storyarc.
