No but it sure sounds like wind to me. You ever hear wind on the Citadel?

Dark Energy "leak" came from the same guy on Something Awful forums who leaked tons of sh*t before the release, including the actual endings. If you think that Bioware leaked that AND the real endings before the release, good luckHellishFiend wrote...
I also think that the so called "Dark Energy" ending was an intentional leak intended as a red herring/misdirection to throw off the players so they wouldnt see the real ending coming.

Thats totally why I missed the last shot in the sniper competition with Garrus. Damned windy Citadel.
Let me know if you ever want a rematch somewhere less windy. Those tornadoes on the Citadel are brutal - Garrus, via the Datapad app.
Are you sure you're not being confuzzled with the ringing sound which you hear in the dreams? Besides it was raining when they were running down the hill.maxloef wrote...
Would it be possible that the "wind" sound is actualy the sound of the beam? i mean it does sound like a very muffled version of the conduit beam when you "wake up" after being hit by harbinger?
The leaked November scrip was real, it was accidentaly leaked in the ME3 beta demo by Microsoft via Xbox Live Dashboard update. What I was talking about was a poster on Something Awful forum who leaked tons of stuff that wasn't in the script (yet turned out true), including Dark Enertgy thing which later the media completly-incorrectly attributed as quotes from Drew Karpyshyn himself. Mind you though, that Something Awful guy was also wrong on some things (for example, he said Ash would be available for same-sex romance) so don't take everything about Dark Energy ending as real. It is obvious that he had some connections to Bioware and an access to the game at some point, he was probably a QA tester at some point, but he was never any high-ranking developer.RavenEyry wrote...
The same guy who leaked a load of DLC which was quickly called fake by Bioware? Yeah, I wouldn't trust that script leak.

Missing your shot probably made the wind worse. Those snipers have a looong range.

It can't be deactivated because there is faint blue/white haze from where Shepard is lying and that is the light which the beam emitts so it has to be either still on or Harbinger is trolling everyone with a fake light.MaximizedAction wrote...
Since the two spikes which we can spot during the camera move in the breath scene, are lying in a horizontal position, I'd assume the conduit is damaged and thus maybe even deactivated.
My first thought was that I hear Reaper sounds the same as in Vancouver. Not the horns but the high-pitched ones they make while walking.maxloef wrote...

possible, however the first thought that came to me was as if you were hearing the conduit sound, but with the same effect you had when you were knocked off your feat by the explosion on earth.

Because the Reapers finally came to their senses and deactivated it.EpyonX3 wrote...

But then the light from the beam is missing.

Then the sound wouldn't be there and the reapers win the war, contradicting the message at the end of the game saying that they were defeated.
You go right on believing the release was accidental while I continue to get frustrated by confirmation dialogues boxes that keep popping up on my windows before I can continue.IsaacShep wrote...

I have asked this before, can anyone show another instance where a beta was accidentally released to the public on the Xbox?
We also lost every troll, so there's that. Also gained me if anyone considers that a plus.UrgedDuke wrote...

Heres the thing though: in two of the three endings the Reapers aren't defeated. You just basically tell them to go away and then they do.
And in Synthesis, not only did you not defeat them, you accomplished their ultimate goal for them.
They didnt lose.
You didnt defeat them.
They just left.
You didnt end the Reaper threat as the message claims, because theres literally nothing stopping them from coming back in Control or Synthesis.
Also, as I always say when the stupid end message is brought up: I dont exactly trust a message that breaks the fourth wall and tells me to buy DLC.
The new thread is moving much slower than the last one.UrgedDuke wrote...
