Highly doubtful. IT wouldn't have been planned until late in the production of ME2 (at the earliest) if it was planned at all. While they could've put infrasound in those conversations, I would hardly chalk it up as evidence.

I think that Bioware put that line about infra and ultrasound in the ME1 Codex. So they had an idea they could have put to use ever since then. If infrasound was present during scenes on Eden Prime, or around Benezia/Saren/Sovereign, and wasn't found in areas where indoctrination wasn't present as a plot element, then it would be evidence. Very compelling evidence.

We're just opening up an avenue for investigation. Don't shoot it down so quick until we get more data.

Man... I usually hate meme's, but "seems legit" is a meme I absolutely love.  I was playing Skyrim last night, found this ancient shipwreck.  Swam down to the cargo hold.  "What's in here?  ...  Fresh fruit and veggies?  Seems legit."

Yes got to love when that happens, expecting gold or some rusty weapon but instead you get fresh fruit and veggies. Least we now know were we need to go to get our vitamin D and C or was it C and E.

I agree.  It works on its own merits even, rather then purely because its a meme.  Plus its minimalist sarcasm, which I always get a kick from.

"All right I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these!? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

Hey guys, I have two questions. Is the Leviathan a Reaper or a surviving creator? If it's a reaper, then is it the Leviathan of Dis? And what does the Leviathan DLC have to do with the Indoctrination theory?

We don't know. We're pretty sure. Could mean anything, really.

Maybe Leviathan is the Reaper the Catalyst's creators were forced into.

So we can send the Catalyst a COMBUSTABLE LEMON to burn his house down?  I LOVE IT!  Someone REALLY needs to do this.

But the Citadel is his home. You don't want to ruin the Galaxy like in the literal interpretation of the original ending. Posted Image

Sorry, wasn't ignoring you, just was afk. I was going to mention the ME1 codex, but it seems Simon has beaten me to it. Again :P
Really though, if anybody can check (again, I'd do it if I could), it'd be greatly appreciated - especially if you find something, as it'd definitely support IT. As it stands, the infrasound is one of the strongest pieces of evidence, in my opinion.

You know what, if I could take the Catalyst down with me by destroying the Citadel, I would do it.  Besides, that would TOTALLY ruin the Reapers' coordination, you know, since the Catalyst controls them.

You know, burn down the forest to catch the bandit.  (Bonus points if you can figure out where that's from.)

Too early to tell. I like the theory that it's the creators of the Catalyst in Reaper form. Perhaps a protoreaper since Harbinger is assumed to be the first? Too many questions. I hope we get this DLC by fall.

So, yeah, the catalyst voice alteration is intriguing, and totally something that fell under my radar. I've watched the EC endings a few times (all the variations) on my home-theater rig and didn't pick up on it.

And it's the only instance of this across the whole conversation? Both times the catalyst gets a pronounced attitude with Shepard, his vocal registry alters?

But the Catalyst may not even be there. He is spread across all the Reapers (collective intelligence).

I've heard that Harbinger saying "serve us" is a clue to the IT, reinforcing the idea that the Reapers want to indoctrinate Shepard.
However, I've also heard counter-arguments saying that Harbinger didn't really say "serve us" but instead is just reaper noise. They say that if Harbinger were to say "serve us" it would have to sound like Harbinger's voice but it doesn't sound like his voice. And Shepard has already talked with Harbinger in his Reaper-ship form in the Arrival DLC and the sound "serve us" doesn't sound like Harbinger at all. Also, Each reaper ship has its own clear and distinct voice, like the Reaper destroyer ship in Rannoch or when Shepard talked to the Reaper-ship Sovereign in ME 1.
Therefore, the "serve us" clue is not a valid evidence for the IT because it is only reaper noise, not actual words.
Is there a counter counter-argument to this? I'm just curious.

How about destroying an entire planet just to kill one Jedi?

Sup guys. Moving to Alaska and it is painful...driving all day. Anyway.

I was thinking today about the EC, and the Reapers stance on reaping makes no sense. In the first and second games all the Reapers would say (Harbinger and Sovereign) was that life was a mistake. All organics needed wiping out forever. And then in ME3 when you meet their leader which is supposed to be the collective of all of them+AI he claims that he is trying to save organics.

My thought is that he is lying to get Shepard onto his side so that Shepard makes a favorable choice towards the Reapers. If the child is telling the 100% truth then something is wrong in the writing. You can't change the antagonists motivation at the last moment. It's like changing Emperors stance in Star Wars from trying to control the galaxy to that he is trying to be everyone's friend. NO. It doesn't work like that. Totally removes the main motivation in the story. And that is what the starchild is trying to do. Make Shepard forget the reason he was there and make him his BFF forever.

I'm originally from Alaska! (Anchorage). Woot woot! Currently living in the DC area though. :)

Driving up to Alaska from the lower 48, major pain in the a**.
