I've heard that Harbinger saying "serve us" is a clue to the IT, reinforcing the idea that the Reapers want to indoctrinate Shepard.
However, I've also heard counter-arguments saying that Harbinger didn't really say "serve us" but instead is just reaper noise. They say that if Harbinger were to say "serve us" it would have to sound like Harbinger's voice but it doesn't sound like his voice. And Shepard has already talked with Harbinger in his Reaper-ship form in the Arrival DLC and the sound "serve us" doesn't sound like Harbinger at all. Also, Each reaper ship has its own clear and distinct voice, like the Reaper destroyer ship in Rannoch or when Shepard talked to the Reaper-ship Sovereign in ME 1.
Therefore, the "serve us" clue is not a valid evidence for the IT because it is only reaper noise, not actual words.

Eh, right now I think BioWare garbled the first word and pronounced the "us", just to screw with people's heads. Everyone has heard something different, it seems.
Serve us. Save us. Purge us. One of us. Asparagus.

Anyway, I will remind everyone that these "revelations" can go either way. Imagine a whole DLC expanding upon "saving us from conflict with the synthetics"!
Official Lore uses "Dumb down and devillainize" on The Reapers! Is super effective!

This strengthens my belief that EC was done (or almost) at launch. Refuse was always planned maybe?

It's obviously Nihlus and a hint that we'll learn more about Marauder Shields.
I though when Casey Hudson said the Reapers could win it meant they win the war not a single battle. I repeat that it was in Shepard's power to grant them the victory, it wasn't that they earned it (it's only implied by Liara's VI, not shown). But the risk, man! Trusting a Reaper is just crazy IMO.
You know that thing is going to turn on you when it realizes you've got a tool designed to effect ALL Reapers, even if it were to be trusted before hand.
The Krogan? Probably gonna be a problem if you cure the genophage, sometime downt he road. Rachni? Maybe. The Geth? Probably as well. BUT A REAPER???? How long will it take being "friendly" with it until you realize it's turned half of your forces on you?

Hopefully Leviathan will also shed light on the effects/repurcusions of synthesis, because if it is one of the first reapers, that's exactly what the catalyst did to whichever species Leviathan belonged to. I think that DLC will give us ITers answers one way or the other, and hopefully give us a canon ending that they can make sequels from, because the idea of prequels after ME3 fills me with unhappy feelings.
