from what I remember Harbinger didn't say anything before the EC DLC.... it's been so long, I can't remember. I don't play ME3 SP since it's a major disappointment from my expectations. Did Harbinger spoke in the orgiinal ending?

No, he didn't say anything before (or technically after) EC.

well I'm guessing the vague groaning of "serve us" or something is what he normally sounds like, and the deep intimidating voice he had in ME2 is his actual voice that shepard hears in his mind (I guess since it comes out of all speakers all the time). It just doesn't make sense they HAD his voice actor IN STUDIO, and they made no dialogue for his character? just gave him 5 lines for a random batarian? wtf??

Yeah, there are some dialog lines packaged in the EC files that clearly belong to an upcoming SP DLC. They reference a creature called Leviathan (most likely a rogue reaper)

according to lines pulled out the leviathans are the original creators of the catalyst. So could be the reaper in the DLC is the first reaper.

I just had an idea... what if (this is insanely dumb I know) they announce at SDCC that there is hidden content in the EC and then tell everyone to go home and play it again, because they have now unlocked 'something'.

So everyone downloads an 'update' which unlocks the new content, and then we all play the EC again to find the true ending. Shepard gets up and the real ending carries forth.

Would explain why the EC is such a large file size.

And yes, I know I'm crazy. At this point though, I don't care.

I think we better just bunker down and grab your snack packs because we're in for the long haul until bioware pulls their heads out of their collective butts. I'm going to be on these forums until starkid gets a decent explanation (or revealed to be harbinger), boss fight against harbinger and a lot of explosions with the mass effect theme blaring in the background. final closure for team, house on rannoch. THEN I'll be happy. still waiting *sigh*. and to protest I'm not touching any DLC unless it significantly alters the ending for the better. we'll see, we're not done here bioware!

Ah yes, we have dismissed that claim. Really there is nothing out of the ordinary in the EC files. The movies take up a lot space. And a lot of files have four versions of them for the localization purposes.

Exactly. ;):P No sorry. They won't. it would be cool, but the reality is that in the 1.85 gigs is content towards the endings waiting to be released (you are sorta right) but after buying dlc. Probably about 10.00$ for each. So they are still selling us the game, but in portions. And it won't even flat out say who's right. Just hints. (Or maybe both are right?? Check Waking Nightmare Theory: EC) And it shouldn't surprise us. Remember Burning Ashes?

This whole non-commital thing is what is burning the series down for me. Either the IT is right or it isn't. F***ing come clean and say either one! Quit leaving your fans to wonder and never have an answer or closure! It is such s***.

Yes, but have you analysed all those audio? New speech and lines in the end wouldn't be hard to lock and hide away because of the size is so small. Sure there is the content we see, but there are small details hidden away that BioWare purposely hid so we can't find it. Small stuff like the Mars mission fix. (Check out Hellish's video on YouTube. His youtube name is sentramaster. I believe.)

It's possible, although 'Dis' is not mentioned in the dialog it's just Leviathan. The Leviathan of Dis was taken by the Batarians. http://masseffect.wi...eviathan_of_Dis

+ infinity!
I am Harbinger. The awesome new main villain indroduced in ME2. I start a subplot of taking control of Shepard's mind. But in ME3, I have a cameo with no lines.

In the thread for the Leviathan DLC, link a few pages ago, there is dialog that connects Leviathan of Dis to "Leviathan". The connector is a line between Shepard and Jordam Bau about how Jordam knew from "his sources". (http://social.biowar...7408/1#12777408)

No, Harbinger is the first reaper.
Shepard: "Who is OLD TONGUE NAME OF HARBINGER?"
Child:  "The first Reaper. In this cycle, amongst your kind, it is known as Harbinger."
Clearly they haven't come up with the old name for Harbinger at the time the script was implemented.

I really really doubt that, because that means you have to come up with a new packaging specification (and make the engine understand that new format) just so can trojan horse some new audio files in (what about the rest? meshes, textures, etc.)

If  *sorry* WHEN ( :Phold the line!) they come out with a IT DLC it would just be easier to release everything then.

Here is the connector for the "of Dis" and the DLC:

Unused line from main game file BIOGame_INT.tlk from conversation with Jondum Bau about the Alliance raid on Batarian research facility:

Right, the Leviathan of Dis. I've got my own sources.

Currently, Shepard instead asks him The batarians had Reaper technology?
