The same guy who leaked a load of DLC which was quickly called fake by Bioware? Yeah, I wouldn't trust that script leak.

The leaked November scrip was real, it was accidentaly leaked in the ME3 beta demo by Microsoft via Xbox Live Dashboard update. What I was talking about was a poster on Something Awful forum who leaked tons of stuff that wasn't in the script (yet turned out true), including Dark Enertgy thing which later the media completly-incorrectly attributed as quotes from Drew Karpyshyn himself. Mind you though, that Something Awful guy was also wrong on some things (for example, he said Ash would be available for same-sex romance) so don't take everything about Dark Energy ending as real. It is obvious that he had some connections to Bioware and an access to the game at some point, he was probably a QA tester at some point, but he was never any high-ranking developer.

You go right on believing the release was accidental while I continue to get frustrated by confirmation dialogues boxes that keep popping up on my windows before I can continue.

I have asked this before, can anyone show another instance where a beta was accidentally released to the public on the Xbox?

Yeah, I totally think that the leak was intentional, and that certain things were changed to act as red herrings, like Javic being a VI or taking his place or whatever. There were red herrings everywhere in the leak and they didn't have the time to change it from that to what we have now.

Just another clue they gave through social engineering IMO.

There's no guarantee control or synthesis stops them though. That's one of the problems with the face value endings, too little information to know what any of the choices actually do.

Is it strange I getting a slight star wars ROTJ flashback from that "Wake up, Shepard" banner? Except it's showing the darkside as the "destroy side" which is infact good since she's not indoctrinated and vice versa. Just an observation.

But then the light from the beam is missing.

Because the Reapers finally came to their senses and deactivated it.

Then the sound wouldn't be there and the reapers win the war, contradicting the message at the end of the game saying that they were defeated.

Heres the thing though: in two of the three endings the Reapers aren't defeated. You just basically tell them to go away and then they do.

And in Synthesis, not only did you not defeat them, you accomplished their ultimate goal for them.

They didnt lose.

You didnt defeat them.

They just left.

You didnt end the Reaper threat as the message claims, because theres literally nothing stopping them from coming back in Control or Synthesis.

Also, as I always say when the stupid end message is brought up: I dont exactly trust a message that breaks the fourth wall and tells me to buy DLC.

If you pick control, Shepard, to some capacity, has control of the reapers. They're goals of killing organics is overwritten by Shepard's command. No reaper threat.

In synthesis, everything is a hybrid, therefore a synthetic only race of AI isn't going to be created. Reapers have no more reason to harvest so the threat is ended.

Destroy kills them all and ends the threat.

If it was all a dream, none if it happened either way. If we can say that the reapers turned the beam off then they are stiill around to do so. Therefore, even after you wake up from the dream, there is still a threat.

That's only if the threat that the catalyst talks of is real, which I don't think it is.

If you google 'xbox accidental leaks' the first two results are ME3 related. If not the only one it's certainly the most well known.

I did a search using these keywords "xbox accidental beta leaks"; virtually every hit comes back as Mass Effect 3, if there is anything else then I cannot see it in the massive hit list.

Which shows that you didn't even get basic info on the leak. Vendetta was already in there. The leak contained both early story drafts that had Javik in the main game and the much more advanced dialogue file where he was already removed from the game.

Furthermore, the leak happened in November, less than 2 months before the game enter certification process. There was no time for any major changes or additions anymore.

Yes, it's the embedded writers script that has me suspicious, what a find!(conveniently)

The Catalyst tells Shepard she will lose everything she has if she picks Control. Even if we dont assume that includes her beliefs and her morality, after millions of years as an immortal space god, who is to say she wont eventually agree with the Catalyst's logic and start the cycles again?

Unless even nonliving metals were turned into half organic metals (which would be even more ridiculous than Synthesis currently is), then what exactly is there to stop fully synthetic AIs to be created anew?

And if nonliving metals WERE turned half organic, whats to stop the newly created half-organic AIs from rebelling? The Catalyst said the 'created will always rebel against the creators,' not 'synthetics will always rebel against organics.'

Yeah, until lex0r11 comes with a motivational, this thread is not the TRUE Indoctrination Theory thread.

No it isnt.

Go to the original page and go back 150 pages from the last page to page 2136.

It says 'Created about 13 days ago.' The thread itself was closed 'about 7 days ago'

So, about one week for 150 pages in the old thread, and about one week for 150 pages in this thread.

About the same rate of growth.

Okay there is definitely a pattern, just completed Rannoch and as I said the "signal" from Aequitas vanished.
That makes:
First playthrough: from Thessia to End
Second playthrough: from Rannoch to Thessia
Third playthrough: from Tuchanka to Rannoch

Fourth Playthrough: from Palaven to Tuchanka

Fifth Playthrough: Secret Aequitas mission unlocked.

If only
Could the unlocking of said "signal" be related to player level/EMS?

No, the second and third playthrough basically have the same level/EMS.

Balance is out there fighting anti-ITers, so is SS2Dante, and Lex has a problem with his imageschack account, so he doesn't want to go on to this thread until the prblem is fixed.

Don't really know about Big Bad to be honest...

Except despite what he may have said in the thread, Priestly locked the old thread because it was too big, not because we were too off-topic.

His reply to the message I sent him right after he locked the thread:

Chris Priestly wrote...

After 2000+ pages, no one was reading the earlier pages.

It can be restarted and discussion can continue.

I also figure some of the supposed slowdown can be attributed to Diablo 3 coming out between then and now.

Back to the topic of indoc and betrayal.

Just after the Sanctury mission

Ashely: I was stationed on Horizon, you were the only cerberus presence on the planet.

It's highly suspicious that the VS turn up right after Shepard gets rid of the collector ship, where were they before.

In ME3 we learn that some husks are sent off as shock troops while the "indoctrinated" are sent to TIM, do we have any idea how long that research lab was hidden by the pool?

It seems to be. It's confirmed by Javik that the reapers showed up at the climax of their war with a synthetic civilization. They would have also showed up during the climax of the Geth/Quarian war but got delayed.
