I don't think we can determine if IT was or wasn't intended.
From the quotes of Casy, Mac, Jessica and others that I saw I actually think that it WAS intended.
There are so many clues in-game that had to be included intentionally.
I'm not saying that the ENTIRE stuff that we come up with is true, but I truly feel that IT as an idea is what BW intended.
Though only a clear statement from BW will say, it's just like IT itself.

Which is why I posted in response to someone comparing this thread to "Warning literalists about the Reapers" that no one is listening because no one is going to change their opinion, regardless of whether your for/against IT.

The only thing I said was that no one is changing their opinion, including me.Rifneno wrote...
How is this hard to understand? You're
saying it's childish to belittle people for having a different opinion
while you're constantly belittling people for having a different opinion
about a different topic. You're saying it's childish to belittle people
for having a different opinion while you're constantly belittling
people for having a different opinion about a different topic.

I dont much like people who choose synthesis either. There are some things even IT believers and literalists can agree on.

I was pissed that Ulfric Stormcloak is immune to soul trap. I was going to imprison his soul in a pair of panties and sell them to a tranvestite orc.
(I'm not kidding either, that's the beauty of the PC version and its modability)

I dislike their choice. That choice has no baring on whether I like the person or not.

I honestly wanted to make a one post observation, since I've seen a couple times in this thread and in other ending-threads-that-devolve-into-IT-wars that it ends in 30 pages of "We'll see whose right".niravital wrote...

Speaking of ATLA / Legend of Korra, did you know Amon is Grunt and the Lieutenant (his second in command, 'Mustache guy') is Hackett?
During the episode where Amon tried to get the Arena closed, the Lieutenant even said 'I just got word. The coucil defied your threat. They're keeping the arena open.'
One of the council members should have been like "Ah yes, 'equalists.' We have dismissed that claim."
