This. People are in denial in this thread that it's so upsetting to see.

If anything, the dlc makes the IT theory improbable as hell. The IT theory makes it easy to address the plot holes that were created in the original ending. Bioware filled those in with new conversations, and gave joker a reason to leave the sol relay. How does the IT theory tie in with that? Or synthesis/control endings where the reapers actually HELP organics as synthetics/organics work together?

almost all of the IT evidence has nothing to do with plot holes and the EC hasent dwbunked a single IT piece of evidence. it actually added more.

im starting to think that the only people against IT are the ones who know nothing about it

The EC did not debunk the "IT" theory. Bioware even stated that it would not debunk "IT" theory.

Exactly. But I don't think they care.

That shows how much you know about the IT. Which is not much. The IT is not about why joker left, and how the crewmates got on the ship when they were with you. It doesn't matter.

Your inability to answer my questions suggest otherwise.

Awww, you're in denial, sooo cute.

Not at all. I liked the endings after the EC. I believe in the IT because it's fun to theoris and speculate.

Again, what does it matter to you what some other people think?

No piece of IT evidence was removed by EC. Hell, not even the Relay beams starting in the Viper Nebula (neural pathways, starting at the source: Rho)

That sounds like the Control and Synthesis endings....

I think BioWare implimented parts of the IT into the ending. They couldn't take all of it and have their "great idea" of having a diverse ending for the game/be different from any other game series. (Look at WNT: EC in signiture)

How could Shepard still be on earth after the extended cut scenes of control/synthesis? How is the star child liying to you about control being the good thing and IT people think its the route to indoctrination when the scenes show the reapers rebuilding mass relays/ everyone living happy? Answer me those questions and the ones I mentioned previously and I might be convinced otherwise that the IT theory is right.

Hi there,

Listen... maybe the IT is not true. Most likely it isn't. And BioWare probably won't use the idea either. The Extended Cut does indeed make it even less probable that the IT and almost proves that BioWare won't take the idea and make it true. And yes, maybe these people are in denial. But, I don't see any reason a need for this discussion to stop until BioWare officially states that the IT was never their intention and they will not be adding it to the game. Ever since the idea was formed, more and more points that favored the IT were made. It is very interesting to see what kinds of things people can come up with. Whether they are true or not is irrelevent. People are coming together, dicussing a game the love, and having fun doing it. Why should they stop?

I keep saying that we should get on Skype.

Can you skype with 2+ people? Anyway that might be a little awkward when no one has anything to say. But maybe we should make a sign-up sheet for a weekly MP get-together or a bi-weekly one for those N7 weekends!
Edit: Hey, guess who on top?

So anyone who has an opinion against the IT theory and wants to discuss with people who believe in it can't be "addressed"?

I think you just can't answer my questions.
