Aside from being a Gun Nut, I'm also big on history, psychology and philosophy. I could explain a lot of that political curiosity for you, if we ever do Skype/MP voice over... which we seriously need to get the ball moving on. That has potential.
Maybe I'll start something for it. Not sure what though. A group of BSN like indoc theorists maybe? "Indoctrination Army"

Still impractical not to be using it during sustained fire.
I tried typing this earlier, but it was in a quote for some reason.
The IT theory was an idea that built upon the evidence presented in the original endings, as well as several places throughout the series. It gives Bioware the credit for the endings they may have deserved, and that fans were able to compile the information perhaps intended for a unique ending by Bioware.
Again, it's easy to become immersed in the IT theory when looking at it in detail, and Bioware wouldn't have given us an extended cut dlc if people didn't complain about the endings, as they believed the ending spoke for itself. Now that it's out and the fact that it's free shows that they want to make up for a misunderstanding. I feel that people's belief IT theory is complimentory to Bioware since it shows how devoted they are. This dlc gave fans that did not believe IT some satisfying closure. Appreciating what they did, fans continue to believe in a theory that has plenty of evidence, but does not have to be accepted as the "true" ending. Bioware has enough respect for their fans to allow this (even support it) while giving fans their own endings and interpretations. Because of this, fans appreciate the work Bioware has done through money/time since it is a FREE dlc.
I think its time that fans "wake up" and realize that everyone is entitled to their own opinions and interpretations.
Fixed for you
Watch that link and argue against me.
Believing in the IT theory at this point is just reaching. It's childish and pathetic, and the fact that you can't counter my arguments against the IT theory just show how pathetic it is and how pathetic the people who follow it are.

Hmm. I'm part Danish, (back when it was "Norman"), but that's a new one for me. I knew the Spec. Forces that patrol Greenland use 10mm for bear duty.
Dear goodness... Reaperized Bears.
Argh! Bad image!
BleedingUranium and I are also part Danish. I'm noticing a trend in the IT thread...
Darnish (Norman), French (Frankish), English (Norman) and Welsh on my mother's side. Scottish, Irish, English and Native American on my father's... not as much detail with his, though we've gone back to the 6th Century on some of my mother's father's bloodline.
But I doubt that means much. We all tend to be analytical and perceptive to detail; those would be the defining factors, not sharing a namesake with an Austrian pastry.

Telling total strangers on the internet what to do - that's childish and pathetic. Go do some homework. Read a book.
OR give me 20 bucks and we'll talk about indoctrination theory in every litttle shamefull detail. I have a very hot voice. True story.

Garrus: Just wanna remind you that we could counter your points, but none of us seem to care enough about you to do it.

My american family were once german slave traders in the 18th century, which is how they came to America...

First of all, I did make a counter argument a few pages back which you seem to have overlooked or completely ignored, as have others. For another, why on Earth should I care what this guy thinks when you so blatently don't care what we do? Now, what's childish is one who insists on calling others childish and pathetic for believing what they want to believe. As I said, it is an interpretation. I'm not saying IT is absolute. I'm not even saying it's true! I'm just saying it is one possibility and that it is one way to look at things. There's no need to call us pathetic for our opinions. Despite all the evidence, think it reaching if you will, but don't come into the thread dedicated to it and insult us.

I'd pay 20 bucks for Kelly Chambers to talk about IT with me

The IT theory at face value imo, was an idea that built upon the loopholes presented in the original endings. It also gives Bioware too much credit for the endings, and that fans were able to come up with a more unique ending than Bioware.
Again, it's easy to become immersed in the IT theory when looking at it in detail, but Bioware wouldn't have given us an extended cut dlc if people didn't complain about the endings. Now that it's out and the fact that it's free shows that they want to make up for it. I feel that people hoarding around the IT theory is insulting to Bioware since this dlc gave me a satisfying closure we were all promised. Appreciating their own work is what a fan should do, not cling on to a debunked "theory" that is improbable through the dlc they have provided us. That's insulting as the fans want their own endings in their own way and don't appreciate the work Bioware has done through money/time since it is a FREE dlc.
I think its time that fans "wake up" and realize that shepard never had to "wake up" in the first place.
Well you are entitled to your opinion and that is fine that you gained closure from the EC but you have 2 major problems with your statement. 1. the Indoctrination theory is still quite far from "debunked" as it has not been confrimed or denyed and the EC also added evidence. and 2. Bioware may have made the EC dlc for the fans, but it was not out of kindness. It was out of self preservation, if they would not have the bad press and the negative feedback would eventualy lead to their bankruptcy. and if they made us pay for it they would have bankrupted faster. So it was a buisness decision not one of charity and kindness. but as i said im happy that you have closure from the EC but the people in this thread and in others as well do not have closure, as the game was still left on a clifhanger.
