Hey. I tried telling everyone yesterday SubAstris was just asking the same questions over and over xD

Looking forward to SDCC next week, and hopefully an N7 weekend getting closer to the final Retake Earth MP DLC and of course single player DLC and finally the IT DLC xD

First we have to take back Omega. Its resemblance to the Crucible can't be accidental. Plus, Cerberus isn't occupying it for fun.

Oooh of course! That is very interesting. I was always under the impression it was just a throwback to ME2 but now you say that it makes me excited for it! :D

I wouldnt get too excited, for all we know it could be more multiplayer stuff, more statistics, and blind fanboys saying HOW GUD EC WUZ IT WUZ SO PURDY ROFL. Please. It may be just me but I think this triology deserves better than a still image montage and plot hole ridden last 20 minutes.

Forgive my negativity I have little faith left in bioware at this point :(

Ahh, but if you believe in IT, you have a lot of faith in Bioware :) They've been so good for so long they can't have screwed up this badly!

It can even be so that the Crucible works in conjunction with Omega like poles in a battery only on a grander scale.

You're more blunt than i could ever be. But i agree. It's like if an Elephant sat on Voldemort or Sauron got a hold of the ring, just to jump into Mount Doom.

So did anyone notice that during Control and Synthesis Shepard's body isn't melted and preserves form while turning black? He jumped into a high-energy beam. The temperature should have dissolved his body. In Control it's justifiable because the electricity fries his body.

Anyway, the idea is that the two "Crucibles" create a kind of potential and by doing so allow something to flow throughout the Galaxy. Like an electric current.

Depends on what the beam does.

Depends on what the beam does.

It smashes the molecules and that way energy is released but on the video Shepard is in one piece all the time.

Its way too damned hot here.

Feels like 105°F? Ugh.

Anyhow, have I missed anything interesting?

I saw we sabotage Bioware's AC so it gets REALLY hot in their offices.  Then they'll be so distracted by the heat that we can weedle information out of them.
But who really wants to go to Canada anyway....?  Posted Image

I have a hypothetical question.

Imagine that Bioware comes out and categorically states that the I.T. interpretation was not their intention and we were meant to take those "endings" literally.(bear with me).

But, they think it's such a good idea, and there's such high demand for it, that they plan to use it anyway as a thank you to the fans and make a piece of paid-for DLC - where Shepard gets to wake up and have the epic kick ass battle with Harbinger we always wanted.

Would you buy it?

Provided it's reasonably priced and well-reviewed I would be happy to. I think I.T. is brilliantly imaginative and far superior to the literal endings even with the EC. And it would retcon away the synthesis abomination from the ME universe.

What about everyone else? Would you buy it, or would you be too disappointed that Bioware had no master plan? Or would you be flattered that Bioware did listen to its fans and knew a good idea when it saw one?

I live in Buffalo, NY.  We have good health care and it gets cold in the winter.  Almost 90 here but lots of humidity.  At least the office I work in is air conditioned.  I'm afraid to get into my car though...

Our hockey is better in Buffalo too!  Posted Image

If they made an optional DLC that was IT-based even though they said it wasn’t canon I would still buy it.

It would be a nod to the IT fans while making the literalists right in the end… I’d be ok with that.

The second one.

BioWare claims to listen to fans. If the literal endings were what they intended, and even after basically everyone coming out and hating them, they stick to them, we'll know they were never actually listening.
