Liara's got scales, so it doesn't count.
Also the Architect does explain himself and what he is doing, he says he is trying to actively end the cycles (and yeah there are sooo many things similar in DA and ME) compared to the child who says I control the Reapers, and it's my solution in the first place... that's quite a difference. The child never wanted to cycles to stop, only (if true) supports it out of necessity.

Hey all, take a look at the image posted in this thread by Bill Casey. New IT implications:

Bioware is indeed hinting at it.

Speaking of similar things, playing Awakening again reminded my why Javik's sensory ability seemed so familiar. Its the same thing Justice does.

@Xaven,
YouTube "abandoned mine mission in mass effect 2" and you will see that the artifact is the same as object rho from arrival. The curvature looks similar to the rubble object, but I will have to look closer when I get home and off this damn phone lol.

Forshadowing, hinting or trolling the hell out of everyone. It is a forum after all. lol.

****. I've been playing through ME1 and ME2 with the specific purpose of doing things as "perfectly" as I could. In particular, I wanted to save my entire crew, which I have never done before. Looks like I just screwed that up - I did the reaper IFF mission prior to completing Jacob and Samara's loyalty mission. I was about to start Samara's, but the Collector ship-boarding scene kicked in.
I sadly don't think I have any pre-derelict reaper saves. Is there any way to salvage this so at least all of my squadmates survive?

Squadmates? Yes. Crewmates? No.
I think the borderline is the IFF mission. After that you can't save them all. But I may be mistaken.Big Bad wrote...

Hmmm...so I should do the remaining loyalty missions before heading through the relay, yes?
I can't believe I ****ed this up! I even read the wiki in order to figure out exactly what I needed to do - guess I didn't read closely enough.
Oh well. Chambers survived on my first ME3 playthrough, so if she dies, I can live with it. But now at least, I have an incentive for another ME2 playthrough!

Think you can do one or two missions after collector attack before crewmates start dying on collector base, but if your nervous about that just have Miranda be squad leader both times, tali as vent girl, mordin as crew escort, jack as biotic, and take jack and tali with you to the human reaper. Should make it with no casualties and do Samara and Jacob loyalty afterwards.

I came across something that I haven't seen discussed here before. I also may have just missed it, seeing as this is an extremely long thread if you include the first one, but here it is.
The catalyst claims that he was the first, and that he created the reapers. But in mass effect one, sovereign states that the reapers created the citadel, which would therefore mean that they created the catalyst.
Hope this helped support the theory. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time.
I think there is quite a bit of foreshadowing in the opening, one that has me interested is when Anderson prevents Shepard falling, Shepard remarks "Thanks, I owe you one" and Anderson replies "More than one", Bioware stated the camera would concentrate on scenes of interest.liggy002 wrote...

My friend found something. In the Voice Cast Reveal trailer, at 3:36, Martin Sheen says:
"Stay tuned, heh... I'm not done yet, LOL!"
I'm guessing this video was made after all the Voice Work was recorded. He's gotta be hinting towards something, since the Illusive Man is 'dead'.

I agree. Been thinking about it since I first read it. At the very least it is a good example of the catalyst NOT being a credible source of information. I'll leave any analysis deeper than that to better minds.Icinix wrote...

I catually think this is a very important distinction. Great pick up!
