Don't know if scared is the right word. Uncertainty does a lot of things.

But it reminds me of a friend who died from cancer, having it a second time and now we still see his online profiles.

But yeah, uncertainy sucks. Worse than fear/being scared, in some cases.

But no worries guys, I intend to stick around.

I've considered suicide before, but it was only for the briefest of moments a long time ago, and something I discarded immediately.

Suicide has the rather unfortunate nature of being permanent, and, eternal optimist that I am, I always believe things can get better.

I make it a point not to take deaths on the internet seriously. I had a friend one time that offed herself because she was being abused at home. I was the last person she talked to, desperately trying to talk her out of it. I was pretty messed up myself for a while. Imagine my surprise when I found out both the "suicide" and the "abuse" were just stunts for attention. Been... oh, about 15 years now. I still hope she learns what abuse really is.

Never let anything on the internet screw with you much. You never know what's real, regardless of how well you think you know anyone.

I've also been single since.

She threatened to commit suicide if I left her.

I notice the **** has yet to off herself and it's been nearly two years since.

EDIT: I'm only bitter on the outside, inside is creamy nougat.

I think we've all had that experience.  I've had fake pregnancies (triplets, even!) as well.  Some people just crave attention so badly they'll do anything for it.

And that means people don't take those who really need help seriously.

Maybe it's different frequencies of people having to deal with it. Just personal experience. These things always come up when everyone is having a good time.
