Added my details too, though I'm an irregular player.

Was really enjoying the Salarian Engineer though.  At least until the last burst of random DC's during extraction waves.  Which is annoying.

ME3 is "Just a Game" like Citizen Kane is "Just a Movie" or A Brave New World is "Just a Novel"

My favourite retort to throwaway comments like that is "and this is just life - its not a big deal either."

Demeaning someone's interest in that manner is pointless, we all like different things after all.  And ultimately it won't matter because our short lifespans will be over soon enough anyway, so you may as wel enjoy what you enjoy and stop taking things so seriously.

Sad thing is, those people are usually fanatic sports fans.  So them having a go at me for computer games is a bit hypocritical really.

You have misunderstood what I meant entirely.

Everything we do, barring the most basic functions has no meaning beyond what we choose to give it.

I have chosen to give this meaning. By your presence, you have chosen to give this meaning.

Does it have as much meaning to me as a treasured freind or a family memember? No. But it does have a meaning I chose to associate with it.

Oh no, I get what you ment.  My tiredness is probably just ruining what I ment.

The retort wasn't to what you said, but to when people deride other people's interests as being 'just' something.  Because ultimately everything is 'just' what it is - so its a throwaway comment with no real meaning.  And it doesn't reduce the worth of anything just because someone dislikes it.

Thanks. I made it myself. Some more can be found here. I've only had the chance to do 3 Sheps/squaddies so far, but more will come in time.

Maybe it was there, but still...
When we find a proto-reaper at Cerberus Headquaters, Liara says "I don't like feel of that think. It's as though it knows we're here" and then Shepard says "It can watch all it wants".
According to the codex, isn't it the first steps of ind.? "As time passes, they have feelings of "being watched"

good catch i for got about that part

Notice how there is no door to the cockpit on the normandy at this scene with traynor yet in ME3 there's a door there.

The Mars OST has a very ME1 quality to it, (which I really like). Sure it's not just that?

www.youtube.com/watch

You get a lot of hybridized ME/ME2 music in ME3.
