I unpacked the Sound files and the EC has a lot of dialogue with shipmates and people outside of the ending. Haven't listened to many of it but did have Tali talking about rannoch, granted it seemed it was from the original game unedited. over 9k files so take a while seeing what is what.

Found the Harby beam sound file .. it's not a seperate voice file more a cinematic track. the unpacker got rid of the names so no idea what file was called. Not much clearer my guess is he says "Serve us". Might try and find an audio editor and try speeding it up a bit since it seems slowed down.

okay my player can actually speed it up and I really really think he says "Serve us" It's definatly two words "Ser" sound at the begining and "us" is the end.

So have you gotten more out of it, or what you have is all you can get because if that is " Serve us" then we can bring this to cleverNoob for Part 3 and we while see on what he does with it.

Also can you put it on youtube once you craked it, or no.

It's really hard to narrow down..to me it sounds like "Serve us" but I try to listen for "save us" to be sure, and it could be taken as that as well. I'm new to editing sound so not really sure what I'm doing. But it's definatly two words. I find it highly unlikely given the previous conversations with reapers that Harby would be saying "save us"

But I'll keep trying, it's a good learning experience. Also started fiddling with the whispers during the dream. heard what sounded like Garrus say " that's going to leave a mark" or something along that line heh. Can't remember when he might have said that in the game if it even was him.

I'm off for now tho

When I accused the new endings of being fairy tale, I had no idea just how so!

When I saw that slide of Keiji being alive in the synthesis ending it made me both rage and face palm even more, which at this point I thought was impossible. Everyone having new hybrid DNA suddenly sounds logical when you have people being brought back from the dead from memories stored in greyboxes.

Seriously, I would love to know what the writers were taking when they wrote that ending.

There are a good amount of short ones, like the personality flashbacks Shepard sees, the Crucible and Citadel moments, etc. with a few long ones like the endings.

If there is to be a sequel that takes place after the events of ME3, then the possibilities are endless. You couldn't just create slightly different dialogue ( like paragon/renegade options ) every detail would be different for each choice that was made. For instance, if you picked "destroy" well the dialogue, story, characters, and settings would be completely different if you had picked "control" the same for "synthesis" aka "space magic".

Another example would be if Shepard was walking through london after picking "destroy" people would be congratulating him for finally ending the reaper threat, but if you picked "synthesis" well people would be pissed they are part machine and glowing like they've been exposed to radiation. ( yes I know Shepard would be dead if one picked synthesis )

I think the best solution is not a IDT DLC, but ME4: Indoctrination. Even with the EC-DLC indoctrination still fits, and the best evidence if the "Indoc-eyes" that shepard sports in "control & synthesis" endings.

Magic is what you used to entertain children, Space Magic is what you use when you are to lazy, to cheap or to incompetent to finish the story you started.

That explains it, the ME team wrote the synthesis ending after an RVB marathon.

Or they let Caboose write it.

I just recalled. I do believe I got the slide with Kasumi viewing the greybox I told her to destroy. In destroy. They mean to tell me that synthetics were wiped out, "technology we relied on" was ruined and yet... greyboxes are still functional?

There are other pre-rendered scenes in ME3 other than the breath scene. There are 129, not including EC.

When I accused the new endings of being fairy tale, I had no idea just how so!

She's with him because his memories were intact in the greybox and it's a sort of...virtual reality, I guess you could say. But I have no idea why this works in Synthesis if you destroyed it (you get that slide regardless of the choice) but not in Control/Destroy, even if you saved it.

Actually for an M game, Mass Effect seems mild. Actually Halo is mild. Halo just has blood/gore + minimum cussing. So maybe Mass Effect seems more tame than some of the M games I've seen. Like Dead Space. 

Anyway I agree that I would be dissappointed if they demoted it to teen.

As EDI said, they transcend mortality... seems Keiji lives on through the memories and with the enhancement comes "back" to live.
