Indoctrination!
Nah, Reapers shot beams from their legs/fingers/tentacles. Now they need some strange weakpoint eye. Way to go continuity.
That weak point is only shown on Destroyer class reapers which were Introduced with ME3.
Also the beam we see the Reapers use as opposed to the tentacle beams is their main weapon. According to the codex it runs the length of the ship, like in a Dreadnought, and no Dreadnought has taken a direct hit from it and survived.
Considering how Sovereign needed to position to try and reagin control of the Citadel it is pretty clear why he could not use his main gun.

SR-2 can't land on planets like Earth because of its size. It was mentioned in ME2. That's why the Kodiak was introduced. So how they managed to land by the beam?
I think the kodiak was is used for more of s stealth thing then anything, after all humans have windows unlike Geth it's a structural weakness you know lol.

You act like friction in attempting to slow us down, I believe you are pointless.

Weird side note. There are windows on the Geth Heretic's Station in ME2. They are just on the inside.

That's the point I'm making. That music always accompanies the kid, and the weirdness.
THIS!
I also noticed that a while ago. I came to the conclusions that "Leaving Earth" either a theme for Reaper's attack of Earth and the people lost and left back (what the kid represents in a literalist's point of view) or it's a combination of the that and a theme for Shepard's indoctrination.
After all, the track appearing in the dreams in a suggestive version (slow tracks do have that effect) just again calls for the debate of PTSD vs. indoc. attemps.
And we can assume from the talk with Kelly on the Citadel that it doesn't seem to be PTSD. Also, as many here already wrote, Shepard has lost way more people than just a random kid.
So, either way, Leaving Earth has Reaper growls in it because the Reapers are omni-present; but then, so is the kid. And when the game ends in the same way it begins, the kid in the beginning must've been more connected to the Catalyst than it seems. Shepard is being manipulated, the question is how.
I think this is one bit that is of importance with regards to the finish, and was further reinforced by the EC.
I have seen suggestions here and there that the thing's form at the end might be Shepard assigning the apparition that form, instead of the thing assuming that likeness itself on purpose.
However, with the EC's addition of the dialogue in the rejection-route, this can easily be undermined by the wolf in sheep's clothing growling, so to speak.
Therefore, it is pretty much irrelevant whether it is exploiting Shepard's short 'acquaintance' with that random kid, if you want to call it that, intentionally or whether it merely chooses to maintain Shepard's deluded visualisation of the thing by not breaking it except when its offerings are rejected: the thing is pretty much revealed to be a manipulative creature.

That may be intentional.
However, getting my Femshep to not look like she's had a bad facelift was...well, actually I just gave up and accepted it. The import was completely wrong, and it wouldn't let me edit the default Femshep face to make her hair the correct colour.

Yeah I would guess that is the case as well. But I wonder what exactly the problem is with landing on a planet with most ships is then...think ill try to look that up.
But definetly interesting that the Normandy is completely grounded in the epilogue and yet dosent seem to ahve any problems getting of planet again.
Just remembered something. The SR-2 Normandy is shown not landing, but it gets relatively close to the ground when docking on Illium. So obviusly it can perform low altitude runs on planets like Earth.
But if it cannot land then as i mentioned it opens the problem with the Normandy beeing on ground in the epilogue and leaving without any visual problems.

Default Femsheps face is one of the ones you can pick under the curtsom preset faces as far as i remember. I remember using it, changing the color like you wanted to do.

I believe the ramp extends below the frame of the normandy to touch the ground without the normandy actually having to land on the surface. otherwise there would be no reason to have a ramp there. They would not have been able to get the Mako back in the Normandy as easly otherwise.

Also consider what we know about Indoctrination, plus the fact that it was omnipresent in ME1 and 2, yet receives only passing references in ME3, and pieces start to fall into place.

I just re-finished my first game with the EC, and, apparently, IT was wrong. But still, there are flaws and so, we need to keep discussing the endings. As BW clearly made EC cause the fans feedback, I'm sure they'll still reading the fans feedback. So, we need to continue helping to improve the game (ITers, Anti-ITers, trolls, everybody)
So you actually believe the unmitigated nonsense presented in both EC Starbrat's dialog and the Synthesis/Control endings is actually real?

Not to mention "We were created to be the catalyst for peace between organics and their synthetic creations."
"So you were created? What happened to your organic creators?"
"We killled them and turned them into a Reaper."
