Ok, let's keep this on topic, shall we? Religion is one of the soul reasons productive threads are locked, besides of politics.

Estebanus. I am an american and I am a cathoilc, but I haven't read the bible, but I like the feeling that God maybe real, but if he is not then okay. I can live with that. Also I'm I a bad American too.

Off topic, but I'd suggest you try reading a bit of it.  Its rather interesting.

And by interesting I mean utterly crazy, as if it was written by someone high on meth and was in the process of having their brain liquify.  Its unsuprising many people don't take it literally - and I really don't blame them.

Mind you, the joke goes that you can never stop being a Catholic - you just become a 'bad Catholic'.

Anyway.

The bible never was meant to be taken literally. It was just a way to give people a moral basis.

If you take it literally, then you get places like Afghanistan or Syria. And that's not a thing I'd like to see.

Yeah, we've got a bunch of those.  They aren't religious though - they are too stupid to even grasp the basics of human civilisation.  They literally breath and breed, and little else.  Most haven't even mastered eating properly.

Actually, literalism isn't HORRIBLE.  Some things are meant to be taken at face-value.  The Halo story is meant to be taken literally.  The Uncharted story is meant to be taken literally.  The Bible and the Mass Effect 3 endings?  DEFINITELY NOT.

I rewatched the beam run video, I didn't see the structure representing the control machine. Not entirely sure what I'm looking out for.

But then I'm also pretty darn tired. And I'm not going to talk about the previous subject anymore, since I've endulged my naughty side enough already.

I still wanna know why the Normandy crashes on the planet in the EC endings. They removed the part showing the Normandy's engines falling off, so the Normandy really has no reason to have crashed.

Obviously so they wouldn't change the endings and get people angry at them!

...even though they did change the endings...  But in a more subtle way that seems to have gone over most peoples' heads.  Just not having things blow up that did before is a huge change to the endings!

OK, I have an off topic question that I need an answer to. I'm trying to get Max Payne 2 to run on Windows 7, and if anyone has tried doing this, then you'll know EXACTLY how hard it is to do this. I've been looking around the internet, and the main solution I've heard is to download a cracked maxpayne2.exe file and replace the original maxpayne2.exe with the cracked version. My question is this: would it be illegal for me to do this since I own the game on Steam? I really need an answer to this if any of you know.

It depends on the story. If the author makes it obvious that we're supposed to make up our own interpretation, then no, it shouldn't be taken seriously.

Bioware tells us the work should speak for itself and we should speculate. Then people say " no, everything should be taken absolutely literally. " These people did not pay attention to The Matrix.
Our minds are easily fooled.

Actually, I didn't think of that. That is kind of confusing when you think about it.
