Ok...back on topic...any guesses to what will and won't be discussed at the ME Panel @ SDCC?

Well, since they said they'd have new multiplayer stuff there, I'd guess they'll definitely talk about multiplayer.

Maybe some Leviathan stuff too.

I think they will talk about Leviathan, and even give it a release date.
I want to think they'll talk about ME4 or general future of the franchise, and how they intend to develope multiplayer in the future (give us quests and REAL game-play! and PvP and stuff)

Not Indoctrination Theory. 50 internets on that.

I hope that they would be more willing to discuss IT...at least in the sense of how it fits into the lore - after all they are supposed to be doing a "Past, Present, Future" discussion (at least that is what I thought I saw).  I don't expect them to have any big reveals...but at least a little more than we have got to date.

OoooO, I've got one: "In most video games, cinematic trailers are designed to emulate gameplay at its finest moments; why do we never get to "Take Earth Back' ?"

This version of the trailer is quite good:

Out of curiousity, what part of the trailer are you most interested in seeing as "gameplay"?

Now if you think of the fact that developers are trying to think of ways to take advantage of the "second" screen - as a way to immerse consumers further into their products...this could actually be a cool thing that you could download...an animated version of the Blasto movie that you can listen to lines from...I might even pay for it.

That's a really, really good question. It was at the back of my mind. I'm surprised no one mentioned it sooner. Where is the scene with lots of hammerheads, some makos, tons of marines, turian frigates, fighters, the Normandy, and Shepard's squad "taking Earth back". Because we don't "take Earth back". Not even close.

If a Blasto game were anything like the Blasto machinima thing, it'd be awesome.

Seeing how I just got the Mass Effect: Invasion graphic novel. I'd also like to know what is going on with Omega under Cerberus control. I find it weird Aria mentioned going to retake it after the Reaper problem is over and it's not explained any bit about why Cerberus takes over it.

It's weird them saying no dlc after the ending and that would mean this possibly never gets explained.

Suppose could take the route of they decide to take it back before the assault but I feel that would be an awkward reversal. Just gets me thinking more that something is up.

With the Catalysts form and the "real or not" kid on Earth...I'm not passing up the possiblity of it all being an hallucination.

the comic says they take omega because of its strategic location to the omega four relay, it serves as a perfect way station for ships leaving and entering the relay to the collector base.
the only thing is though, couldnt they just make their own station? they obviously have the resources to either make their own or hijack one, just like they did omega, though obviously theyd face less resistance taking a simple research station then f*ck with aria.

The part where Shepard actually helps take back Earth, without being vaporized.

Just look at the trailer: That's like the day after the Reapers: Dreadnoughts and Cruisers are inside the atmosphere without getting torn apart, Makos are running over dragon's teeth, etc. Relatively speaking, the Alliance is tearing the Reaper troops apart.

Imagine the impact if that was the ending, instead of what we got: the Normandy leading fighter/bombers overhead, carpet bombs breaking debris apart, getting to see famous sites on Earth being taken back from the Reapers- it's an expansion in and of itself.

And I still insist that we haven't been shown all of that cinematic.

Adjutants I thought were the Innosanan, like the Race before the Protheans, the statues that appear on Illos, I thought they looked similar to them.

in the art book it says they where cut from the game when bioware couldn't get them to function right in the game engine. They where supposed to warp around the battlefield or something.

Hmm, they kinda do.

Wonder where Cerberus would have found some of those?

Sort of, though I think that's more from the Reaper upgrades than what they originally were. No doubt they're from a previous cycle, but I have no idea what they could be. I'd say they could be some pre-space-flight species now, but the Reapers don't harvest them...

I'm still holding out hope for a Retake Omega DLC simply because I love Aria but it'd be nice if this was explained along with why they wanted Omega to begin with.

The MEU artbook says it's a kind of reaper-creature that was cut at some point.
They say it should have teleported around the battlefield, and it was too much for ME universe physics...

From one concept it looks like a Salarian-Asari hybrid...

EDIT: Wow I'm slow...
