You naively believe a complicated story is not complicated. It's alright if you want to admit it. We can't flog you for it anyway even if we wanted to.

I honestly can't believe this is coming to this.

For a minute I actually thought everyone here was on the same level. But clearly, you two think more highly of yourselves and you think less of me because I do not buy your theory. That I am naive. I can't change that if that's what you think, but I can tell you you're wrong. Just because your theory involves a lot of thought does not mean that I am "naive" because I don't buy it.

Where are the other people I was talking to? The ones that respected my opinion?

I still respect ya:)

I generaly try to stear clear when the debating gets to opinion vs opinion. When specific facts or plot points start getting discussed I chime in when I have something to say.

Unfortunately when the topic is this ambiguous there are few definite facts. Almost everything discussed here is opinion.

And even then, people are still inclined to believe superiority over those who don't side with them. I don't think people actualy like the idea of this being opinion, not fact; doesn't allow them to call the other side idiots and have it be justified.

I'm still here, and sitll respect your opinion. I disagree with it but I respect it.

Anyways, I think he was joking, but even if he wasnt, he can still respect your opinion and believe you're naive. The two arent mutually exclusive.

I was mostly kidding. Especially the flogging part. I'm not a violent person.

Sorry, then.

Not easy to tell tone through text - perhaps you should have used this: :P

'tis why we invented them after all.

Edit: was not referring to you, but to less respectful IT supporters I have spoken to in the past.

listening to the video now.. I just noticed something that bothers. Our Squad-mates are really badly hurt during the conduit run. Yet when they come out of the normandy in the epilogue after the crash they are perfectly fine..I didn't notice that before.

Yeah, Bioware's not too good at filling plot holes.

Well, I'm in a VERY good mood. I FINALLY got Max Payne 2 to work! Yeah, all I had to do were replace the beta drivers for my GPU with official drivers.  So, what's new?

We finally established that attempting to argue which interpretation is correct is futile and pointless, and that the only thing we know for sure is that there's still a million plot holes.

That can be patched with IT or left open by Literalism.  Of course, if someone else presented an alternate hypothesis (Not even asking for theory here.) as to why BW permitted that many plot holes other than lazy writing (Which, based on this page
http://tvtropes.org/...idge/MassEffect is a load of baloney.), I would be happy to listen.

To quote Kal'Reegar, "Just stating facts ma'am."  I don't want to start any debates, just pointing out the truth as I see it.

Yeah I would be completely open to another theory or hypothesis (you're right - people don't know the difference) that conveniently explains virtually all plot holes.

Legion, I've got some hard evidence if you're willing to check it out. It's a 5 minute video by Hellish regarding infrasound in the dreams. Not directly related to the ending, perhaps, but still good evidence for IT.

(We really should link this video more. It's pretty hard to call this interpretation or opinion. :P)

Also, I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but that "angelic" sound that's in the dreams and mentioned in the video? I just realized, that's also in London, at least from the FOB onwards, and maybe near the Hades cannon too, but I can't remember.

I had only played through the EC, never did a 2nd run yet so was interesting to know the reaper destroyers made the "serve us" noise. Hard to say why they do I think it's just habit for them, I don't think it's reaper farts so to speak.

Other then that I thought it was very well done

The way people analyse and extrapolate data, dig for clues..the creators of this theory should be detectives.

Don't take my tone harshly. ;)

First off, when you speak to Sovereign, you're speaking to a hologram just like when you spoke to Harbinger on the asteroid. Except with Harbinger on the asteroid, there wasn't a device on the landing pad to create a hologram that big. The " Serve Us " line could be a result of indoctrination. Husks have their own indecipherable language and so do Reapers when they speak. Harbinger isn't speaking directly to your mind, as he would in the Arrival DLC where he had direct contact through the Artifact. He's talking in Reaperspeech but it's garbled. My theory is that everyone else on Earth not in the process of indoctrination would hear a Reaper horn but we hear Serve Us because Harbinger is already in Shep's head.

The same case can be said for the destroyers you flagged on Earth and Tuchanka. Shepard is starting to understand the garbled language of Reapers. That is not a good thing and is a clue, I believe.

Secondly, the Leviathan of Dis, as stated in the raw data, has shackles on it, like EDI did, that the Reapers put on it. If it has shackles, it was forced to help the Reapers against its will. If those shackles are removed, then it would be free to rebel again.

Therefore I believe the Leviathan of Dis and the Leviathan in the upcoming DLC are one and the same just as EDI before shackles and after are one and the same.

Well, I need to watch the whole thing, but I disagree with you if think IT wasn't planned from the beginning.  I'm pretty certain that it was.  Apart from that, though, I get the feeling that it will be good.
