I kind of miss the old Arian wall-o-text mass reply.

So do I, but no one ever read or responded to them, and you claimed they were hard to quote, so I break it up now, just for you.

There's a good reason I sometimes decide not to wear some of my favourite shirts in public.  This would be why.

Though considering I live in Britain, there's no rednecks.  Luckily.  But I get some red odd looks when I'm wearing my 'Submerged In Boiling Flesh' shirt.

...

Never speak to me in public. You frighten me.

So how about them endings, huh?

I still wanna know why the Normandy crashes on the planet in the EC endings. They removed the part showing the Normandy's engines falling off, so the Normandy really has no reason to have crashed.

Actually, I didn't think of that. That is kind of confusing when you think about it.

Uh, SPACE MAGIC!!!! :wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard:  To be serious, in Destroy at least, I would ASSUME that, in a literal interpretation of the endings, EDI's death led to some kind of feedback loop (Or some other problem.) that caused the Normandy's engines to fail.

With regards to the other endings, I have no frakking clue.

You also are forgetting, THE ENDINGS HAVE EVEN LESS REASON TO KNOCK THE NORMANDY OUT OF THE SKY THAN THEY DID BEFORE!

There is no reason the Control or Synthesis waves would damage the Normandy, let alone knock it out of the air.

That doesnt really explain the damage to the Normandy's exterior, or the fact that they've literally landed ON the planet, and arent just hovering above it like they do everywhere else they land.

if they have no Eezo core, then they can't reduce their mass and hover.

If they have no Eezo core, the ship doesnt work at all. They're clearly shown taking off after the memorial wall scene, and I really doubt they randomly found a deposit of Eezo large enough to power the Normandy's huge drive core on that planet.

good point.

Plus, if you're talking about discharging the Eezo core, they dont shoot the Eezo out of the ship. Discharging the core just refers to releasing the static electricity that has built up from FTL travel. Eezo is too valuable to just toss out every once in a while.

Which, by the way, you don't even NEED to land on a world of any variety to discharge the electrical buildup from an eezo core, since you can enter the magnetosphere, extend a grounding rod and discharge that way, yes it takes longer, but since the Normandy SHOULDN'T be able to land on a world with any truly appreciable gravity AT ALL, there is no reason for the ship to have touched down.

That would have been cool, but I guess this is evidence that Bioware is lazy, right?

100%

/sarcasm

Really if I ever wanted to pin the word 'lazy' on Bioware I'd not put it there.  And honestly, compared to other game developers, even with the problems with ME3 I could never call them lazy.  Misguided and too focused on 'wider demographics', perhaps.  But never lazy.

Agreed. I have seen truly lazy, shoddy and half assed work, which will show up in the game itself long before it manifests in the story, if an aspect of the story is too much effort, they cut it, they don't turn it into crap.

A lot of people and worse, but back to the subject:

I've been doing a little bit of "geneology"

I'm finding IT theory dating back to at least March 12. I didn't really get involved until April, but thinking that it had already developed before a week was up... that's deep.

Would a picture of my first draft of my first post in the original IT thread, complete with a timestamp showing when I wrote it help in any way?

*snip*

I made my first appearance on the scene on page 299 of the old thread.

So, I went back and looked at page 299 of the old thread.

WHAT IF, INDEED!

Worst part? I don't even remember writing it. But I DID write the absolute earliest draft of my ending script some time around the 8th.

And it looked nothing like it does now.

Well I managed to get him with Dr. Ogenki, the main character of a Japanese Combination Comedy/Porn flick, but werdly enough it had every other character from the same show.

Except the title character of a dirty comedy called Ogenki Clinic. Fail.

Oh so do you think we have seen the last of Legion of 1377, or not?

Also I think Legion of is actualy coming to terms with IT.

And Legion of may be a good ally to IT in the future.

Zigamor look at page 1669 and 1659. That and Legion of 1377 is came back, and is slowly coming over to the IT side. Also read page 1556. I think we were talking about the Leviathan, and Freddy created a IT video on youtube so ya that's about it.

I really dont see what he said that has made you think this.

He said he respected how much effort we've put into IT, but also definitively said he didnt believe in IT.

Byne I think he is starting to see our point, yet believes that he is right, but I think that he knows we have good facts. Plus he even compared us to the geth, when he saw us picking at every little scrap ME3.

And that's just it, the preceeding 99% of ME3 wasn't lazy writing at all so during the last 1% there's no way the entire Bioware team said "F*** it, it's done," and walked away.
Some might argue some of the game was lazy programming (with random glitches/model bugs/dead zones throughout etc) but for the most part people ignored the little things in the face of all the epic going on.

I've said it before, IT or not Bioware has something planned for ME3 with an ending like that.

But Byne it's like I said to Legion and the others in the past " If you think IT is wrong then fine, but just answer my question. Why are you still here, if you think IT is wrong" I think it's because that you doubt that IT is not real because Bioware did not say IT is correct, and I think that you are afrid that if you support a theory that my not be right. You don't want to get all of your hopes up if they shot IT down."

Personaly They hardly ever reply back but Legion, and a few others do reply back so they are not all that bad.

I would also like to say Bioware said that they will let the game speak for it's self on what is happening at the end of the game. So there may be some hope and with the Leviathan on Shepard's side. We may get a better view on the endings, which may lead us to Shepard's final battle once and for all.
