 Wrex and the Reaper.

Also, considering Saren is featured in the sig, I think Pirate's signature is not meant to be taken seriously

I think you're giving most of the people that use those control/synthesis banners too much credit, but who knows.

What about Wrex? Remember this isnt about the thematic evidence. Turbo and I have a pretty strong grip on that aspect. What I'm looking for is the "tangible" types of evidence that people want to see in videos. Like the Infrasound and "stealth EC fix" ones that I did.

Oh NOT thematic evidence.

Hmm, tangible evidence then eh? You'll want to see about getting Prettz onboard.

Hmm, starting from ME1, Let's see, Saren's speeches about Synthesis, Benezia's speech about Indoctrination, The Rachni queen's speech about indoctrination, the codex entry about indoctrination, the most recent one, a brief shot of Shepard watching Sovereign take off, the Sovereign conversation.

A few bits from Project Overlord about the horrors of Synthesis, (presumably with James' comment about how it "Looks pretty, but it's not right." much like the Synthesis ending in general.) Discussion with Jacob about how "You're still you, you just have a few extra pieces inside." and the other points where they explain Shepard's differentiation from Saren and his implants, The Arrival. Just "The Arrival" It's lousy with indoctrination in general.

Hmm, nearly the entire Derelict Reaper mission, Legion's speeches on the nature of the Reapers and their relation with the Geth, Harbinger's speech and various quips, perhaps a few of the minor missions dealing with indoctrination, focus ALOT of effort on making it clear that even fighting indoctrinated enemies can spread indoctrination.

Focus a great deal on the child and the entire Vancouver mission, on Rannoch focus on the Reaper conversation and the Reaper interactions with the Geth, especially the code, make it clear the destinction between Legion's code, as well as the reasons he used it (Desperation) and the Reaper Code, make it clear about the Geth's current "organic" nature achived with their newfound intellect and individuality. Be sure to cover the entire London and Cronus Station missions (and for the record, Cronus can be spelled Chronus, Cronos, Kronus, Kronos, Saturn, Saturnus or any number of ways, they all are referring to the same being and all mean the same thing.) and be sure to cover all the Illusive Man's speeches on the nature of Control, as well as Javik's rebuttals, and Hackett's comments about Control as well. And definetly include examples of synthesis. Lots and lots of examples of Synthesis.

Pirate... dont look now, but your sig has been indoctrinated....

What? I liked synthesis :/ Nothing worng with me is there?:(

If you like synthesis, why bother stopping Saren in ME1 at all?

Kidding people, I chose synthesis, and also control, destroy and refusal. Just that I've not found the other banners yet :C And I like green :P

Hmm, let's see, London, Chronos Station (I'm certain there is some symbolisim even in the name that could be associated with the greek titan of time, but any nuances escape me right now.) Perhaps Tchanka and Rannoch.

Except its "Cronos" Station, which has nothing to do with time :pinched:

Cronus/Cronos was the son of Uranus, and he envied his power (as in, Control of the universe :o)
Also, this needs a quote...

The period in which Cronus ruled was called the Golden Age, as the people of the time had no need for laws or rules; everyone did the right thing, and immorality was absent

So, yeah, Bioware know their mythology pretty well. I'd say it's even more proof that they wouldn't screw up writing the ending so badly... ^_^

And for extra fun, Chronus ruled over the other titans, as well as the Lemurians, Atlanteans and many others, known as the golden race of men, who were superior to weaker races of men who followed them (cough*Synthesis*cough) while Chronus himself would force the horrific monsters created by the coupling of Oranos and Gaea back into their mother's womb, hiding them from his sight. Monsters such as Echidna and Typhon, the parents of Cerberus, three headed guardian of the Underworld.

If you're being serious, then yeah, there is something wrong with that... I'd suggest rewatching my Choose Wisely video, because I added annotations to it that call attention to themes being portrayed. There may be some things in there that cast synthesis in a new light for you....

I also meant that you were likely appreciating it in (ugh) an ironic manner, rather than the literal supporters of it.

Yes you're a hipster.

Nope. Agree with all of it, apart from that.

Chronus is quite definitely the personification of Time.
All the others are indeed the same, and nothing to do with Time.

I agree but you're using Chronus incorrectly. If there's an "H" in the name, he's Time, and completely separate to Cronos, Cronus, Kronus... :pinched:

Arian... that's mostly all thematic evidence, lol. I'm talking tangible as in inconsistiencies, oddities, things-that-shouldnt-be, etc.

Some examples would be like, the cronos station breach, the london view bob, Coats on the citadel, etc.

That being said, everything in your post is indeed important thematic evidence, and we'll touch on most, if not all of those things in our thematic evidence videos.  But I'm just looking for ideas for quick videos I can do to keep people entertained and informed in between our thematic evidence video releases.

What if EC was meant to sow new doubts in our mind because many of us had figured out the indoctrination attempt? (If its true)? Also, I thought the stargazer scene was kinda redundant now because it was meant to show that hope still persists after the Reapers are defeated, but then I remembered that "one more story" part. That means Shepard's one more story is yet to come. SO that's why they didn't remove the stargazer scene O_O

The greek root is Chron, meaning time, DERIVED FROM THE TITAN CHRONUS, who's name meant "Time" All the others are simply variations from one source or another of the same name, for the same god, who was the same personification of the same idea.

I am referring to incongruities, but you also need to establish the significance of things like whispering and such by showing the symptoms of indoctrination.

That and thematic evidence is so inextricable from simple momentary incongruities that the incongruities mean nothing without the context of theme, alone each piece can be dismissed as a "bug" or a strange artistic choice.

Because (and this is my own explanation) The EC is Literalist centered Fanservice, meant to make the endings more palatable for the people who took them literally to keep them from getting more upset, especially considering that they never planned to make the EC at all.

Revelation comes later, probably later this year.

You may see it that way, and your sentence/opinion is well worded, but I have to disagree with it. Clevernoob's "documentary" is a perfect example of the clear distinction that most people place between tangible/inconsistency-based evidence and thematic evidence . Some people have only eyes and ears for things that dont require much - if any - context. Turbo and I aim to attack that problem.

Dude. You're talking to an archaeologist.

Context is God to people in my profession.

And listing every little strangeness in a mission would take alot of time and I'm ****ing lazy.

But one way or another, get Prettz onboard, he's the go to guy for the kind of video you are looking for, if you just want videos focusing on weird bits without context.

I kid. But seriously, which bit is getting on your nerves? The waiting? The Speculating? Either of those, I say sit back and enjoy it. Immerse yourself in the shadow world of half spun clues and barely formed thoughts, of darkened ideas and unpleasant musings on the nature of insanity and a slowly cracking mind.

Arian, I didnt ask for a list. Just general topics. And I honestly should hope that I've proven that I can handle making videos from top to bottom, as I neither asked for nor needed help for my Infrasound video. And for that matter I only asked for "help" with Choose Wisely to give people a chance to chip in and contribute if they wanted to (Turbo notwithstanding). So I dont really feel the need to bother prettz with it. He's done more than his fair share and even expressed the need for a break from making them.

Define specifically what you mean by general topics (yes I see the irony there, shut up.) give an example if you can.

And I never said you couldn't do it on your own or that you were incompetent, but it doesn't hurt to collaborate with people, whom can give you ideas that you hadn't considered before. But if he needs a break, well then lead with mentioning that.

From my original post on the matter:

But since putting that sort of thing together is quite a long process, I probably have some time to work on regular "evidence" videos, if anyone wants. Just let me know what topics you guys want covered, and I'll see what I can do. I think I already have the footage I need to do one on Cronos station (the breach, color coding, etc), but I'm open to other ideas as well.

I cited Cronos station as an example, including two elements that would be presented from that example.

I gave you a few of those, but I probably should have been less lazy and more specific. Are you doing it one location at a time or do you just want whatever things associated with whatever locations?

Cronos Station - The Breach, The Colour Coding, Shepard's Self-Doubt, possibly EDI's unusual behavior, but, I take the stance that it was just EDI having an encounter with, how was it Shepard put it, "A twisted father figure"?

London - The similarities to other locations, the door Husk, the body piles, the trees, the beam run, the London concrete and it's similarity to the Breath Scene, Coates, Infrasound, the Normandy goodbye and Harbiger's attitude.

Rannoch - The Reaper conversation

The Dreams - The whispers, the fire, the symbolic nature of the whole thing, their absolute pointlessnes in comparison to the plot.

Vancouver - The Boy's dissapearance, the disappearing garden, the boy in general, the Shuttle Scream, the locked door,.

The Ending - I won't bother, I am sure you have enough on your own here.

I'm still almost 100% sure that Chronos and Cronus are two separate different beings O.o

The whole point is the Chronos actually is the personification of Time.
Cronus is the God of the passing of time, the Harvest etc. He also parallels TIM to a large extent.

They have the same root (as you say, from Chron...) but they are different beings.

Mostly interested in knowing which locations people are interested in seeing a video about. In other words, if I made videos on all of those, which would you click on first? etc. Turbo actually already did an excellent video on the disappearing garden, so I dont need to cover that. The rest of those do justify a video though. A lot of it is buried in the "archives" of the IT topics and as such, we're the only ones that know about it.  I feel we'll be doing the community a favor if we can put it out there in video form for people to see.

On a side note, that Husk one is a good example. In Vancouver, the husk knocks you away if you get close to it, and Anderson acknowledges it's presence. In London, however, no one acknowledges the husk, nor will it knock Shepard back if you get too close to it.
