BioWare still hates everyone who can't appreciate their artistic integrity.

Carry on.

Here's a question...

During the intro Anderson hands Shepard his own sidearm. And yet he's also got another gun for himself which we don't see. Where did he pull the gun from?

Also, why does he seem completely unharmed? Everyone else in the room was dead, Shepard was stunned and bleeding a bit... But Anderson seems completely fine.

Fishy...

Edit: Also those 2D people who are running towards the Reapers in an endless stream...  There are a bunch seemingly running from out of the river.  Erm.  Yeah.

Welcome back. Not sure how long ago you checked in but don't think anything massive has been uncovered. HellishFiend has a new video, working on another, you missed a few random spurts of trolls  trying to troll, and the usual speculative discussions/debates. Course I may have missed something important.

Secondary gun: [possible] game mechanic, can't always see a gun in a cinematic until it's pulled out somewhere. Not only that but we know he has a secondary Predator, The Illusive Man yanks it from his belt during the Citadel encounter.

He is harmed, his uniform is torn and bloodied in some places, his face is bruised and battered. Shepard's uniform as well but his/her facial damage seems to disappear after the "Shepard!" sequence after regaining control.

Nothing groundbreaking, but some people liked this:

Everyone noticed the transition from ME1/ME2 renegade to ME3-murderous-psychopath-renegade but I never thought of a reason for it. "...manipulating the victim into betraying friends,

trusting enemies,

or viewing the reaper itself in superstitious awe."

Well, something very similar at least.

Its odd that most of the plotholes/inconsistancies are found at the beginning and the end of the game...

Yeah it is odd. From a writing standpoint, they're probably the most important parts.

Why carry two Predators though?  It serves no particular advantage.  Usually a sidearm is a lighter and smaller weapon for use in emergencies.

Just an odd observation.

No clue, just speculating. Maybe Anderson's just a BAMF who carries two pistols for action scenes.

Its possible he picked one up off a dead body, but why give Shepard the one he's got holstered?  And why didn't we see it beforehand while walking to the meeting?

Not to mention the Predator isn't a military sidearm.  But hey.

or he just grabbed one from a dead body, it showed him inspecting the wreckage and bodies checking for survivors. they are in a military installation

Well it's not as if he's fully decked out to go to war (no armor/assault rifle etc), he's just going to a meeting.  But, maybe having heard Hackett's reports he figured he'd need a backup to his sidearm and grabbed one before going to meet Shepard. [/speculation].

So, some stuff for the ending sequence:

*The helmet removed from
Coates is confirmed as not a standard bit of uniform for marines - the
files actually identify it as Kaidan's helmet, but it's also Shepard's
one, and the animation for the Keeper removing it from Coates identifies the helmet as Shepard's...
Posted Image

*Coates is labelled totally differently from the alliance grunts, so
there's no way he's there unintentionally (not that I believed he was
before).

*There are a couple of new interesting sound file names in the ending

@DanielMoulder There is DLC planned, but I can't say pre or post ending. You'll have to wait for details. Sorry.

okay..must not get my hopes up too much tho =/
Hmmmm....BioWare is at least thinking about post ending. Curious.
"Curious"
is a good work for it. Why not just say it'll be before the end unless
they are in fact planning post ending DLC? Considering everyone expects
that. Hmmm...Posted Image

Calling DLC "Post-Ending" is a curious one - they've said they're not changing the "endings", but how about adding in content after the "endings"?
Kind of flies in the face of what an ending's supposed to be, but I imagine that's how they'd justify it.

Entirely depends on how it's executed. I think this is too long for the big reveal, but if they can keep it under 6 months it may not be a bad marketing strategy...

Which is a bizzare thing for the whole series - why tell us that its a non-military weapon, and then have it be as common as muck among soldiers?

Good question. I'm sure the people who wrote the weapon descriptions were not the same as the ones who gave people guns. Not sure. Going from descriptions, all marines should carry phalanxes.

Either that or its Bioware being mega-subtle and saying 'don't trust everything the Journal tells you'.  Or maybe a more general 'don't trust what anyone says'.

If I'm reading that right the child's animations are named "Guardian". This is very curious, as Merizan referred to him and the Guardian, and it never says "Catalyst" the the subtitles. It simply says "Child". They didn't even pull off a Legion and change the subtitles after he says "I am the catalyst from "Child" to "Catalyst". Weird.

I think it all relates to the symbology of the Predator and the Carnifex. Which in quite subtle.
