That's not something you miss. That's something you literally have to go aut of your way to even implement.

I don't think so. That would invalidate a LOT of gameplay to something that's "just a dream".

And then what's to stop us from thinking that Shepard went mad from the beacon on Eden Prime and dreamed all of it up?

Right I can't fight this one. The definitely intended it since the sway isn't always on and there's no reason to load it into memory before the beam push. I'd understand if you restart the mission after getting hit by the beam and the sway stays in memory but it was my first playthrough.

So, this is what Merizan had to say before she was given the "stop revealing things" prod and suddenly went all vauge :P

*snip*

Thoughts?

If Merizan knows something, and isn't pulling our leg, which I doubt she is, then all of this holds some incredible weight. And I'm especially excited about the last one. I'VE ALWAYS BEEN TELLING PEOPLE TO NOT RULE OUT GAMEPLAY BEING IN THE EC BECAUSE THE PRESS RELEASE DIDN'T SAY A WORD FOR OR AGAINST IT. She seems to say, "Hey, why can't it be?". If Merizan is right, which she has been before, and its her job to keep the community inline so I doubt she'd lie, then that last tweet is something interesting.

In all of those she basically confirmed:

1. You can meet up with your squad (And Liara... I guess that means any of your LI's), IF you made the right choice. Thought it was interesting she emphasized the choice many times. Seems destroy is mighty important.

2. She will not deny the IT. Why would you deny something you later plan on revealing?

3. The EC will clarify or uncover quite a bit, it seems. It sounds like its going to be a lot more than people initally thought.

4. Something I've always said... there very well might be gameplay. In the press release it says 'additional scenes and cinematics'. Additional scenes could be ANYTHING. Gameplay, combat, dialogue. Anything.

Overall, those tweets prove very revealing. And it would make sense why Merizan now doesn't say a word. Her superiors may have tighten down on her a bit, telling her to keep quiet.

I'm hopeful with all this!

Please don't bring is back to the dark ages where we hung on to Merizan's vague tweets if as though the enkindlers themselves spoke them to us.

The EC fades in to Shepard entering the orbit of the planet after the Collectors blow up the Normandy. He dies for real, series over.

Ugh, that would suck.

I remember someone noticed that for
the last time you can select a weapon if you go to the customize screen
the camera doesn't stand still, now I am just playing Earth and noticed:
there is weapon bob which is nowhere else but when you just get up from
being shot by Harbinger.

I saw another video before that was posted of that. Surprised nobody made a big deal about it...

As so usual in this thread:
MIND BLOWN!!!

DJ posted this weapon bench a while ago back in the last thread, but I dismissed it because it looked like the reason the camera was bobbing was because someone was recording the screen with an actual  camera (hence the bob effect). His main point was that there was no visible weapons bench in the final sequence in London anyway and therefor it was an inconsitency, which I thought was weak evidence since it was likely just a gameplay element. So now this is confirmed that the camera bobs around as you stare at the final weapon customization screen? Well, I wouldn't say it's "ground breaking" for IT, but it's certainly something, IT or not. Neat.

Yeah, whether it's due to proximity to Reapers, fatigue...whatever the reason is this only shows up on the last mission, it shows that the devs had something in mind for the last mission, and it was worth altering the game mechanics, which surely was not trivial.
Not exactly your usual sign for a rushed ending...

Can someone do an experiment? We need to load a forest dream sequence and stand still to see if the camera bobs during the dream...

I don't believe it does, based on this video (of the third dream sequence):

http://youtu.be/OOp5BBym1M0?t=11s

And I've never actually tested this, so I don't know: you can't access your inventory screen during the dreams, right?

it is entirely possible though that the entire series is a hallucination because Shepard can get drunk, whos to say that Shepard passed onetime and started suffering from withdrawl and had dream-like hallucination about tthe entire series.

Oh, they did, but their motivations for doing so are unclear.  Could be adrenaline and fatigue, emphasized in a subtle effect for ambience. Needless to say, it's something faint and purely sensory that they implemented. That shows thought.

Lighten up. They hold a lot of interesting info, that if were false, why spill it? Definitely should not be overlooked. And a lot of people, including myself, had not seen them till TSA posted them now.

I already looked for this while looking for similarities in the dreams and with the endings.

The sway is not there. Shepard's movements are not identical in speed. The scene where shepard gets up is actually moving at a regular pace and is not in slow motion. It's only slow motion when shooting the husks to make it easier for the player to shoot them.

The shrubs are not in the dream. The dream trees asset names and appearances are different than those near the beam.

That's what I got from it at least.

I can understand if you don't do it out of principle (I really can), but if it's because you're not good at the online gaming thing, trust me: I'm not either, at all, and I've taken to it relatively well for these purposes.  I stick to the lower and mid-level arenas for now (Bronze for fun, Silver for a challenge), I have a good time, I cooperate, and it seems as if there's a place for people like me who are decent strategists but less-than-stellar shots.  I don't play any other online games.

Actually it's because as an Xbox user I have to pay extra for multiplayer. I thought the taster for MP was actually quite good, but not enough to justify a subcription.

Added the weapon bob to my guide - Seriously WOW. Can not believe that one had slipped by me so long. Much bigger deal needed to be made of it! That's a BIG clue!

Adding info on Legend Save and more detailed analysis of the start location of the Crucible/Citadel explosion and the fact it does not begin in the Local System (Sol) later today.

I always try to have all the latest info and clues we find but this thread moves so fats I worry I miss things. Feel free to message me if you think I have missed anything.

It can be easily missed as it's quite subtle, also if you reload it's gone (one of the many reload bugs, best experience is not to die anyway ^^).

Used your video in the guide for this entry by the way :)

I hate slowdowns in games. I was perfectly fine in ME2 when loosing my shield to get into cover, in ME3 it immediately slows down and ruins my timings.

As it stands we have Buzz Aldrin telling a story to a kid...that was our adventure...every erotic moment, every disgusting alien, every gruesome battle the ast 2.9 games were a story being told to a child by his grandpa. if thats not as invalidating as "it was all a dream" its pretty damn close.

I personally have no problem with the "it was all a dream" trope but it has to be used right.

Wizard of Oz: incorrect usage (gets a free pass for being one of the first)
Gurren-Lagann: correct usage

I still can't hear any sort of chime as the 4th second turns over. But I'm taking your word for it for now, you're one our more logical posters. I'll keep listening when I'm not quite so tired.

@Arian Dynas

I'm almost positive Big Ben is still working to some degree, the time seems to change between when you see it in the background of the Hades Cannon, and the end cinematics. Course the cinematic team might not have been paying attention to the mission sequence and put the wrong time display.

That's fine. I assure you it is there, and I'm not the only one that's heard it either. Its really difficult to distinguish from the "groaning" that starts right before it, especially if youre conditioned to hear what youve been hearing for 200+ views.

I could make a sound clip + waveform screenshot of it. Anyone know where I could post the sound file? I cant remember what site TSA used to post his.

A story about things who can make people mindless salves and other organizations that torture prisoners, or the hero letting her enemies burn to death... exactly the kind of story I would tell my 6 year old grand children.
