Guys what if when Anderson said " I was born in london" again was to see if Shepard is okay, but Shepard failed the test. I say yhis because his eyes look wither studying Shepard, or indoctrinated going on with Anderson.

How is that testing to see if he's ok?

Anderson WAS  born in London. That was established long before ME3. I dont know why people make such a big deal of him saying it.

Because he said it TWICE.

TWICE!

I think he means Shepard should say "You said that already" or something.

Why? It'd be like if after my Shep saying she was born on Mindoir during the Eden Prime mission, then having them add a mission where you go to Mindoir.

If upon arriving there, Shep said 'I was born on Mindoir' again, would you really expect one of your friends to say "Shut the hell up! I already know that!"?

Hey I don't know! I was translating for you Posted Image

Apparently, no one wants AI here. Posted Image In 20 years (maybe sooner) humanity will have a working simulator of a human brain so get used to it.

Regarding Anderson saying again, it is needlessly awkward. Shepard responds with "Really?" and then there's an awkward silence and then the conversation continues like it never happened. Anderson gives Shepard an odd look, as well.

Getting fed up of these disconnections...

I know its a half-arsed Console port, but you'd think they could at least have it run semi-stable?

here it is all you have to do is skip twords when Anderson picks Shepard up, and Anderson just ask Shepard the "I was Born in London", but Shepard says " Really", like Fellish said. plus there is a weird look on Anderson's face after Anderson responded to Shepard's "Really".

Also Anderson I think Anderson suspect's that Shepard is being Indoctrinated because Shepard forgot that Anderson was born in London, back when Anderson told Shepard on the Normandy. Also notice when Anderson talks about " it's to bad that it took the Reaperes to bring us together. It was mainly for Shepard, but Garrus, or one of you squad's will say no Shepard is the one that brought the galaxy together.

So I do think Anderson is acting weird because Sheaprd might becoming Indoctrinated.

makes sense, since he is acting very funny around Shepard after Anderson saves Shepard.

Skip to 20:49 to see the video of Anderson's weird look and is about to further question Shepard.

I don't know if this was mentioned before or even that I'm grasping at straws trying to make these connections but...

The SYNTHESIS ending song (I am alive and I am not alone) sounds A LOT like the "Uncharted Worlds." The uncharted worlds song symbolized the unknown and being unsure of what the future holds. While this was partly the

theme of Synthesis it seemed pretty apparent to me that EDI knew almost exactly what would happen in the future and that everything would be perfect. The song choice contradicts the ending a little bit because "perfect" and "easily

foreseeable" do not match with "unsure" and "unknown." Something about the ending and song choice paired together bothered me a little bit.

The CONTROL ending song (I will watch over the ones who live on) sounded very sinister IMO. Similarly, Reaper-Shep sounded very sinister too! In this ending Shepard sounded very power hungry and self centered. He went on

about how "HE" ended the threat (even though he had tons of help and support) and about how HE would build a better future. This doesn't really sound positive to me because the whole reason anyone gets into trouble is because they

refuse to collaborate with others and just assume they can do everything THEMSELVES. The personality Shep has in this ending I feel pairs PERFECTLY with the song choice giving it a resonating negative feel to me.

It was already explained dozens of times that the Synthesis ending completely went against Mass Effect because the game was about sorting out problems. This was already established. However, my theory about Control (which IMO is

supported by the song and Reaper-Shep's self-centeredness) is that many cycles ago Harbinger went through a similar set of struggles that Shepard went through before finally getting to the equivalent of the Crucible. Harbinger then had

to make a decision just like Shepard. Harbinger chose control. The exact same thing happened, Harbinger helped rebuild everything and all was well. We all know what happened afterwards when Harbinger got drunk on power.

I feel this is something that could have likely happened and would make a lot of sense to me. Who is to say that Reaper-Shep would make the exact same decisions that Shep would? Eventually the power would get to anybody's

head and the cycle would start again. The only safe cycle is a cycle without reapers. The only option that does this is Destroy.

Edit: attempted to make the format more readable.

I don't know about Harbinger.... my interpretation was that everything after your choice is an illusion. Remember TIM said in the control room w/Anderson "I saved humanity" as in TIM already made his choice...probably after encoutering his version of the Starchild, probably saw all the same nice things we see after we choose control and figured it was all over.

So I doubt Shepard would eventually be corrupted by power. More like he would be completely taken over the instant he touched the power rods. In the EC we see Shepard trapped in a dream halo/illusion inside a reaper rebuilding a mass relay.

I'm totally with you on that. I don't believe any of the ending at all TBH. I think it ended somewhere around the thanix missiles and the reaper brought the bridge down ontop of Shep. Would explain why he/she isn't that burnt in the breathing scene but is still under a pile of rubble.

I am just saying all that hypothetically and using it as evidence of why the literal endings don't make sense. Synthesis and Control endings seem "too good to be true" yet the soundtrack says otherwise. That was my only point really.

Speaking of too good to be true, I tried to share this earlier when I was having image problems. Remember when the Normandy is about to be overtaken by the blast from the relays and the explosion right before we see the crew trapped on dream planet? Well here it is again, the infamous white halo that indicates a transition between dreams/reality:
