LOL. I saw that video TSA_383 posted. You could have jumped back and that Banshee wouldn't have taken you. Actually I don't know who that was (there should be names over characters in MP).

In all honesty, in this case I am glad to be wrong. This would confirm even further what we are already speculating.

Now the question is, is the light in the destroy ending (I don't believe I saw one)? Out of all the endings that is possibly truthful, the destroy ending is the closest we're going to get. If the reapers were destroyed with the crucible or not, the outcome in the destroy ending is probably what we'd get. I don't believe that the geth or EDI are mentioned in the Hackett monolog (although EDI's name is on the wall of the fallen). There is also the breathing scene in the destroy ending.

I believe all the endings are fake or that most parts of the destroy ending are fake.

I just rewatched the Destroy ending and couldn't find one ^_^

Congratulations, you are not indoctrinated! :D

Yes!  Oh, wait, I probably should have PM'ed that.  You know, since now there is no way of knowing for sure who is and isn't indoctrinated...

Darn straight!  Also, you just changed your avatar?  Well, at least you still look sort of like you used to.  Otherwise, Byne would freak.

Finallly caught up today and on my lunch break at work, and I saw a few things I wished to input on. Unfortunately nothing IT related.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the MP weekend training, I'd like to join in on. I'm in the IT PC MP Group/Thread, so if you haven't added me yet, I'm in there. Pretty much the same as my username here, Either_Ardrey. I'm available in about an hour as a starting time (which would be just after 5PM here).

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Personally I think the Predator is fine. I managed to kick some serious butt in solo Bronze as Batarian Sentinel, because I was too busy to switch back to my Valiant.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since Earth MP DLC is all but confirmed from Bioware's panel at SDCC, I've been contemplating the new human characters listed in the leak: Shadow, Fury, Demolisher, Destroyer, Slayer, and Paladin. Based of the names, it seems to me that the translation will be (bold is what I'm leaning towards)
Shadow - Infiltrator
Fury - Adept
Paladin - Sentinel
Demolisher - Vanguard or Engineer
Destroyer - Soldier or Vanguard
Slayer - Engineer or Soldier

Just my own musings. Lets see how they match up when it happens, if it happens that way.

Carry on the speculations. I want something IT related to comment on!:wizard:

That was Lexor

I did something similar about a minute into that round though, Was shooting at a brute when suddenly the Banshee jumped to right behind me, apparently it was offended that I wasn't paying it enough attention so decided to rip out all my internal organs and break my neck...
Sounds a little bit like my ex actually...

lex0r knows how to make up for making me disappoint. When he first posted that picture last night, I was tempted to tell him to make it his avatar, but never did.

The fact that he did it on his own is awesome! :D

But Byne what if it is possible that Anderson thought Shepard was not him/herself becasue that was just right when you and Hackett talk to Anderson about what's going down in a few minutes. Also I forgot to say think, not assume that Shepard is Indoctrinated, and Joker has been keeping an eye on Shepard. So I think Joker got hold of Anderson, and told him about Shepard's stress level .

Also isn't it weird that Anderson said that " It's a same that the Reapers brought us here togetherL but it's right after Shepard says Really to Anderson's comment. So it's weird that Anderson does this, but drops it when Shepard's squad mate tells Anderson that Shepard is the one that brought everyone together. Then Shepard says I missed Earth and after that Anderson drops it since he can't further question Shepard, since they have a war to fight.

We should check Refuse as well to see if there is the transition light. Though if Destroy indeed doesn't have one, then that's some interesting news to ponder regardless. Especially considering how, if they didn't plan IT, they would know by now that we've established that light transition as a precedent for parts before the ending as a sign for scenes that aren't real/in the "real" world. There is absolutely no doubt that they're aware of the theory and that several moderators that work at Bioware read this stuff and no doubt mention it to their superiors, so it lends to probability that they'd know about this occurance, since it it one of the older (and pre-EC) pieces of "evidence".

I looked through the Refusal ending and did NOT see the transition light. HOWEVER going back to a while back, Shepard shoots the kid with the CARNIFEX, not the predator. Does this mean something? Does this mean that this ending/choice leads to a real result but is not the RIGHT choice since you are using the CARNIFEX? The refusal ending is the same outcome as Destroy except everyone you know and love are dead (AKA a crappy version of destroy).

Either and Chris,

I am on my phone so I cannot link a video, but I believe there is a white transition, it happens very quickly while Shepard is shooting the tube... I could be mistaken, but it will be at least another four hours before I can look myself. Oh, I think it happens at the same time that the pistols change...

I looked for myself and I could not find one for the life of me. It was probably the white of the explosion that you might have mistaken for the transition light? Even if the explosion looked the same, I doubt it would be the case since the transition light is deliberately a LONG transition, not a fast one. And in this case there was nothing "transitioning." Even if there was a transition light after Shepard shoots the tube, all it would mean is that after shooting the tube, Shepard broke indoctrination and is "waking up" from the dream due to the transition light. This would mean he/she picked right.

You know, the Destroy ending could be 'reality' it just takes place some time after Shep is pulled from the rubble and rehabilitated. This would fit the 'No new endings' and even kind of fit by loophole, no post endings.

Speaking of too good to be true, I tried to share this earlier when I was having image problems. Remember when the Normandy is about to be overtaken by the blast from the relays and the explosion right before we see the crew trapped on dream planet? Well here it is again, the infamous white halo that indicates a transition between dreams/reality:

This effect is extraordinarily common as a transition effect in ME3- when you enter your ship, or the camera phases from one area to the next, it can show up. Given its use in other games and movies, I would say it's too generic to be considered a reasonable peice of evidence.

Really? I for one only noticed it during the dreams, the geth consensus and the last mission. Where else does it happen?

Nope. I think that's stretching it. In that way any of the endings could be reality.
