If there is a memorial to Shepard it should say "You can fight like a Krogan, you can run like a leopard, but you'll never be better than Commander Shepard."

edit: Source

Change leopard to Drell, and it would make more sense in-game. We have no idea if leopards still even exist that far in the future.[/serious sarcasm]:P

Epiphany: The new N7 characters have a Cerberus phantom, Cerberus Kai Leng, Cerberus Guardian, and Cerberus Atlas character. Posted Image

Whoa.

Anyone want to bet the Missile Launcher ability will be funtionally identical to the ML-77? They've added almost all the other heavy weapons into MP as other things so far. Sure, most don't look alike at all, but they function the same, in terms of gameplay

Just for reference, which weapons are these? I'm guessing the Reegar is one of them.

Pretty much this:

ME2 = ME3 = ME3 MP

Particle Beam = Particle Rifle = Particle Rifle
None = Spitfire = Plasma SMG
M-100 = M-37 Falcon = M-37 Falcon
None = M-560 Hydra = None
ML-77 = None = None (maybe the new "Missile Launcher" Soldier power, or "Homing Grenade" Engy power?)
M-451 Firestorm = M-451 Firestorm = Flamer
M-622 Avalanche = None = None (maybe the new "Snap Freeze" Sentinel power?)
Arc Projector = None = Reegar Carbine
M-490 Blackstorm = Blackstar = None (maybe the new "Annihilation Field" Adept power?)
M-920 Cain = M-920 Cain = Cobra

Hmm, that fills the three missing ones Posted Image

She's also carrying and Eviscerator! Girl means business... even though the M-22 sucks IMHO. But I think the Claymore does too, at least when compared to ME2's version.

Never used the Claymore in ME2. Cannot stop using it in ME3, funny how things change. Really comes down to practicality vs the awesome factor when functionality is relatively the same.

Same for me. Claymore was too clumsy in ME2 for me..

So does anyone know why Shepard can't/can survive the death beam of the Reapers primary weapon?

Oh and the reason why Shepard never get's promoted, because Shepard just wants to be Commander F****** Shepard. It's the best rank that sounds good with Shepard, and Shepard would say " screw you promotion offer. I am Legendary beast that out ranks everyone in the Galaxy.Plus Everyone listen's to Commander Shepard and not General Shepard.

This was (hypothetically) answered a few pages back. Harbinger didn't hit Shepard directly. Harbinger effectively missed. Harbinger didn't miss any of his other shots either, he only missed Shepard. The only explanation anyone has come up with is that Harbinger wants Shepard alive in order to indoctrinate him/her. It is generally agreed by most of us here that Harbinger says "SERVE US" right before he fires which would further promote this theory.

Seriously, the only Earth animals we ever see are birds (pigeons), and hamsters, and perhaps some fish. Not even a dog, though I'm pretty sure they're there.

(to all) Do any of the squadmates mention animals/pets?

Theorizing: he/she was not directly hit only grazed. Being directly hit is enough to shred most space wareships, an organic would be vaporized (as evident in the Destroyer scene in London.) Being grazed by a Reaper's death-beam would probably be enough to kill just about any ordinary organic. But Shepard has been cybernetically augmented in an unknown number of ways, add this to being "grazed" and it = "Just barely survived.".

I would actually dissagree with you + I ninja'd you! The augments do make Shep more resiliant and much much stronger but it does NOT make him/her bullet proof. If Harb wanted to kill Shep he would have. Heck, he would have shot multiple times. The only explanation I'd buy is that he missed on purpose. After all he did say "serve us" as in "we want to indoctrinate you."

Plus if they wanted Shepard dead.

they would broadcast Shepard's death all over the galaxy, and to rub it in everyones face put Shepard on the Dragons Teeth and watch in horror that the Galaxy's greatest Hero become a Husk. HAHAHAH!

Not bullet proof yes, but potentially searing-heat proof. Unknown how the beam hit/grazed him/her, not enough data. Both cinematics (Pre and Post EC) we can see the beam stop just short of Shepard, in the EC we see it make a sweeping motion towards him/her. In spite of whether or not Shepard could survive it in reality, we still get the Breath Scene in high EMS Destroy (NG+/Import) which is a clue that Shepard survives something at least.

And, as has been mentionted numerous times, "Serve us" is not conclusive (unless I missed confirmation the past day or so of lurking.) Whenever I listen to it I hear "Save us" or "Cerb_rus" or nothing in english. I'm still in the camp that Harbinger says something in the Reaper language that we're not meant to fully understand (yet).

Well Baily is a Commander now, and the person you can promote to N7 is a Commander, and there are others but everyone is following the Shepard trend now.

But TIM'S suit is bullet proofish, and maybe Sheaprd slipd on TIM's Suit under neath his/her armor, just in case.

. . . TIM 's suit is not bullet proof I don't think. He dies of a Renegade action gunshot wound to the chest/torsa at least 2 potential ways.

If anything TIM's new cybernetic underskin makes him more durable but still not bullet proof. But anyway, getting off track.

I still think it is Serve us, save us makes no sense in the circumstance why plea for help now when they killing everything? And Cerberus makes the least sense of it all.
