Why is this thread still going?

Because there is much speculating to be done, my friend.

The ending is set in stone, good sir.

You mean the ending stated, by Bioware themselves, to be open to fan interpretation?

That was four months ago when they had no intention of making their ending make sense.

Well ask me this please. If the Leviathan DLC cann't change the endings, then why does it count has a War asset, and why does Shepard ask the Catalyst about the Levianthan's. And yes it's in the EC files, and Bioware will make there state ment on the leviathan dlc during SDCC.

Leviathan DLC?

It's the newest single player DLC due out sometime soon (I hope). It involves the Leviathan of Dis. Judging from some of the leaked dialogue which came with the EC, it looks like this DLC will shed some much needed light on the past of the reapers.

So we have 3 opinions on Refuse now.
Mine - Shepard resisting Indoc., yet dying as a mental wreckage and is of no use to the Reaper.
byne's - Shepard got fully indoctrinated.
paxx's - Resisting Indoc., yet standing up, but without the breath scene.

I'd like to have that cleared.

Ask TSA he's the one who found it, and look at his post about it. Also  some of use think that the Gurdian file name, is a test, but again ask TSA.

Paxxton thinks Control and Synthesis are awesome endings though, so I have written his opinion off as irrelevant. ;)

Why should he ask TSA? You're the one who told him to look at the picture. Did you not have a reason for telling him that? Why would you tell him to look at the picture if you dont understand what it is?

Even I dont know what point masster blaster is trying to make by telling you to look at the picture.

But then, I dont understand half of what masster blaster says anyways...

Hay I make some good point's and some bad point, but in all I am not the one who has all the info on IT, but Hellish, and Tubro do, and you to Byne. ( Oh and I forgot Arian, TSA, and a few other's):)

I'm not saying you dont make good points, but they're so laced with grammar and spelling errors I rarely understand them.

I did, but I said ask TSA since he found it, and I do, but it's the same thing TSA said before I could respond back.

Just one thing, why would bioware expand on all the endings with additional scenes, if none of it really happened?
And if Shepard refuses, shouldn't he get the breath scene, according to your theory?

For the first: because they miscalculated and thought the original endings would be enough to hold people over until IT was revealed.

For the second: because reject is giving up and being indecisive. Even in control or synthesis Shepard is decisive.

I'd say reject is probably the most  indoctrinated of all the endings.

Well, when you're given three choices to end the Reaper threat, and pick none of them and choose to lose, you tell me how that isnt more indoctrinated than choosing to end the threat.

Maybe Shepard sees past the veil of the Catalyst's lies and refuses to participate in his game.

And ending up dead as a mental wreckage, hence of no use. Yep.

No, he just wakes up as he was before collapsing. Nothing changes in his mind.

Uhm, why no breath scene then?

Because even with all the current War Assets you can't win conventionally.

Right, and Shepard knows that. Thats why reject basically boils down to Shepard being too indecisive to actually stop the Reapers and essentially giving up.

Why is the breath scene in Destroy then, even when the case (War Assets) is the same?

Did the Catalyst pay you a visit?

Paxxton's favorite ending is control last I checked. He is the catalyst.

LOL. I like those endings but I'm still aware that given the IT interpretation they probably aren't the ones allowing for the continuation of Shepard's fight.

Oh well that's my fault, and I have been trying to get Bones to come on this thread as I have with a few other's, and I am trying to show them that IT is not bad, and so they can see what Arian, Hellish, Turbo, and you have to say about IT. Since you are the main heads of IT.

Early in the game she barely even believes the Crucible will stop the Reapers. Theres no way she thinks they can conventionally stop them, especially after all she's seen.
