The sacrifice is only temporary. As soon
as I find a way to successfully insert hypertextual links in the sig the
wealth of my highly acclaimed ME3 theories will be again available to
all the people of good will.

My change is permanently.
This needs to be said.

Well, Paxxton has always been in love with control. He wants to be a god, and even though control doesnt technically allow him to do so, he apparently thinks it does.

I'd not be an ITer, if I'd say it would make him a god. Because it's not real, he just got indoctrinated.
He believes in it, that's what Indoc. does. :?

Right. I think Paxxton's position is that if the endings are real, he likes control, but he doesnt think they're real.

You can correct me if I'm wrong, Paxxton.

Oh, well, I know Control isn't the best in the IT interpretation but c'mon everyone deserves some fun controlling the Reapers. Posted Image

Btw, I don't read that text as support for slavery. You can harness the strengths of your enemy by making peace with them and exchanging knowledge and technology.

Sure, but thats a control support sig, and thats not the way it happens in control.

Actually, I'd disagree. The collective intelligence of the Reapers (the Catalyst) gave Shepard that choice so he somewhat accepted the terms of Control.

I dont think the godchild says that hes the collective intelligence of the Reapers, does he? He just says he controls them.

He says he embodies the collective intelligence of all reapers. Whatever that's supposed to mean, exactly.

Also, the controlling intelligence in Control is not Shepard. It admits it's not Shepard. And what's more it talks and is implied to think like a reaper.

It was reaper thinking that caused the whole cycle in the first place. Also, where will new reapers come from in Control/Synthesis anyway?

Well, yet another reason not to trust godchild, as having a collective intelligence kind of contradicts what Sovereign says about each Reaper being 'a nation - independent, free of all weakness' and makes the idea of Leviathan being a rogue Reaper questionable.

But when Seven was recharging, the Queen could have still spoken to her. Though she wasn't part of the Collective, there still was some connection.

You know when Sovereign says that it was the Reapers that built the Citadel, and the Mass relays, then does that mean the Reapers built a home for the Catalyst. Since it clams that the Citadel is it's home, and why does Sovereign say that " orgaincs are an mistake. When the Catalyst say other wise.

Someone needs to make a video cut of catalyst vs captain kirk. He always seems to get AI's to implode on themselves by getting them to contradict themselves. The catalyst would be a easy mark for him :)

Is it just me or since the EC was released we've been discussing the literal sense of the ending more often than the IT interpretation?
