People die in war. EDI and the geth undestand that. The people who call destroy genocide apparently dont.

Ruthless calculus.

I understand the sacrifice...but I do wish the completely implausible rainbows and ponies ending was possible...what can I say I am sucker for happy endings. Posted Image

You have four at the moment. Pick any. Same rainbows and ponies in each of them.

Okkkkaaaaayyyyy...not sure what you see as a "happy" (read rainbows and ponies here) ending in any of the choies that we have as of yet...but to clarify.  I would love a "if you have done all the required checks, everyone lives, reapers destroyed" ending.  I hope that helps to make things clearer.

And by the way...not sure if this has been aswered or discussed, but does the Earth MP DLC due next week fit with you projected timeline?

I would say it's early. By a lot.

Not to be rude (I hate having to type that)...but it was a question for Arian...the master of the brillant "Marketing Theory" (and yes I hope that the flattery will work).

Yes, sorry, i cut in. But i also answered out of the marketing theory.

Arian, so it was your post about the whole marketing plan like three months ago? Bravo i'm a fan ))

*bow* Why thank you.

And due to popular request it IS part of my sig now.

Off topic, but I finally unlocked a decent Assault Rifle - the M-98 Mattock! Pretty chuffed, considering all I was getting was equipment packs and special ammo for ages...

Oh, and I'm still completely in love with my Krogan Sentinel. And apperently the Krogan Battlemaster is the same, but better. I really want to unlock it!

Which, come to think of it, might not actually be a bad thing...

ME4, takes place slightly before ME3, through the events of ME3, as seen from the outside with a new protagonist, and slightly after ME3.

When you require two stories to satisfy the needs of one, you have EPIC FAIL!

I disagree, seeing the Reaper War from a perspective other than Shepard's might be cool.

Oh, and who else is feeling weird about the Ultima Forever thing that keeps popping up?

Um and what if this new hero comes across Shepard's LI and well you know.

Shepard will not like that, and I think Shepard will go find this new Hero and  have a gun fight with this new hero.

Also No just no. It's weird that it's in the same story as Shepard, and to be honest I don't want to play an new charactter that is in Shepard's story because it's not right. And if this new hero becomes a new Shepard in the future, and takes Command of the Normandy. Then I think refuse/reject sounds good right now.

Welp, the Alliance News network has been pretty dead, so I have no idea, last update was for  Operation Savage nearly 22 days ago.

Considering the stench left from "killing" Emily Wong via Twitter (I still think they could, and should, write around that with a piece of Kick-Allers-Off DLC), I'm not surprised that it's remained dark.

I was surprised that they never seemed to bring Emily Wong back...after ME 1 it seemed like they were setting her up to be Shep's mouth piece...oh well.  It doesn't break the game for me...do wish that we had an opportunity to "save" Emily...but otherwise, meh.

I thought she was in ME2, and how did she die again?

They probably would have, but Jessica *shameless IGN pandering* Chobot was her likely replacement. Meh.

Yeah, I was kinda of disappointed that the ANN wasn't in game like it was with CDN...I remember that they were days with ME 2 I just turned the game on to read the most recent "news"...I kinda of miss that.

They just REALLY wanted to make "the war of the worlds" hommage. ))))

And btw - I personally, really liked Diana Allers as a charcter - she didn't say anything stupid. I feel that they just wasted the character by not doing anything with her. She literally does nothing. Shame. Could have been interesting. Her writing was surprisingly good.

I was ok with Reegar (wish I could have seen it)...

Edit:  Seemed to be in character for Reegar to go out that way...just wish they could have done it with Shep being involved with the mission somehow...

Edit 2:  If I unlock a Quarin Male in MP, I just might have to name him Reegar.

Yeah, I think it would make for, at the very least, a cool mini-segment of DLC. And you are allowed to ask Allers to vacate the Normandy at any time, so there's a gateway.

Enough was left vague in her crash and signal loss to get around it, methinks.

Oh and guess who Ash sister married. Tomas from ME1 remeber on the ship when the guy was about to kill the scientist that ruined his life.

Also Joker's sister too died, and Jonas father.
Plus the krogan that we could hook up with that Asari in ME2 on Illium died in ME3.

That Ultima is being made by one of the periphery studios right? So it's really only Bioware in name.

Then again, EA is doing there damnedest to ruin Bioware's name.

No Thomas from ME1. There are two cases where one Toombs is on a plant/facility, and Thomas on the Ship with the other Cerbures guy. But I could be wrong have to play ME1 again to be sure.

And really don't you forget. Sheaprd did kill a reaper with his own hand. The derelict reaper - remember? It took just a team of three to board it, and to literally shoot from a simple handgun. AND IT DIED.

Problem here with your plan of boarding reapers is that...
  • That reaper was already basically nonfunctional
  • There was heavy resistance within the reaper itself.
  • Soldiers you send in will become indoctrinated sooner or later.
Interesting plan though. Would love to see MP missions based on this.

I don't recall Toombs being mentioned in ME3, but you will get an e-mail (believe it was late in the game) about Reegar and his squad dying on Palaven protecting a comm relay.
