So we have determined that the predator in cinematics is related to positive and the carnifex in cinematics is related to negative. So when the carnifex changes when the shockwave hits shepard in destroy does that mean that the destroy seems negative but really it's positive? Or that you finally are released from the Reaper's control/ perception change?  

Well, I've never really seen the Predator as being positive, exactly, but more representative of free will and redemption, since Saren, TIM, and even Fai Dan (who was controlled by the Thorian, not the Reapers) all used it to break free of them and redeem themselves.

I think Jacob's dad can also shoot himself in the head with a Predator, and he's doing so since its really the only way he can redeem himself for the things hes done if you choose the renegade option

I find it interesting that the other two people who shoot themselves in the head (Samara and Admiral Raan if Tali died in ME2 and you side with the geth in ME3) use a Phalanx and Shuriken respectively, and not a Predator. They are killing themselves for reasons other than breaking free of some kind of control, and thusly dont use Predators.

Well, I figure, since you're siding with the geth, he dies when his ship gets blown up.

I really love the gun theory and it would make pretty good sense. Most of the gun changes seem deliberate.

Sadly, however, Shepard's guns change randomly to the avenger and predator throughout the game in cutscenes. Even scenes that have little importance change the weapon randomly. It might just be a game mechanic. The only time I can really remember Shepard's weapons being changed was when you meet TIM on Mars. Come to think of it, a predator would make sense if you were seeing TIM. I think Shep used an avenger in this scene. And now I'm partly confused.

It's this kind of stuff that makes me speculate the speculation about the guns, It certainly looks/sounds great AND works in the ending. But, during the rest of the game it happens (seemingly) randomly.

The Avenger is an assualt rifle and the Predator is a pistol. There's a big difference. Did you mean to say the Carnifex and Predator change randomly?

No, I meant exactly what I said. Throughout the game Shepard's weapons are forced to the Avenger, Shuriken, and Predator during cutscenes. 

Edit: But not every cutscene. Are they forced intentionally maybe?

No, I think he's talking about how the Predator and Avenger are just the default guns used in cutscenes.

But when it isnt Shepard and her squad, the person can have whatever guns they want. The only time Shep doesnt have a Predator is on the Citadel at the end, when TIM conveniently takes Anderson's gun, and its a Predator, even though before the beam run, Anderson clearly had a Carnifex, and on the Citadel, clearly has no gun at all.

Oh, also Shep had a Carnifex when she betrayed Mordin and Wrex, not a Predator.

Ya I just wish we could gotten to at least see Reeger, Toombs and all the people we helped in ME particapte in retaking Earth back but no they all dead except some of the non military ones, but they still should have been war assest. Yet they mad a good final stand in the reports and they mad my Shepard proud to have know them.

Byne don't forget that if you kill Legion it's with a Predator, so I don't think that's a good thing, since the Predator represents good.

I didnt say the Predator represented good though.

I personally agree with allowing Legion to upgrade the geth, but you have to remember, he's upgrading them with Reaper code. By killing him, you're technically freeing him from having any Reaper influence, thus you use the Predator.

Doesn't Kal-reeger die later on in ME3 after you do the Rannoch stuff?

Minecraft. The sponge of imagination. Don't worry. The effects are temporary.  Unless creepers insist on falling in your mine. Then that just causes troll class headaches.

It was creative mode. I had asked my brother to rip down a village so that we could expand our city over it, and he decided that it was a perfect time for him touse craploads of TNT. he blew up over 30 f*cking square kilometres. It looked like a nuke had been dropped on the place. We spent the last 3 hours covering everything up. 

Now, I see only brown squares. And my head hurts. A lot.
