Also, we're winning by a pretty wide margin over in the HTL forum...

The EYES!!! The answer lies within the eyes!

Pick whatever ending you want... No anti-IT can deny this evidence!!
As soon as you make your choice... The eyes will speak the truth!

I'm surprised by the results of that poll. I had assumed that most of the folks over at Hold the Line were the ones insisting that the ending be changed entirely, indicating that they thought it was face value. Instead, the majority believe IT? Interesting...

Are you saying... that WE are the majority?!

dear god...

I always suspected that, to be honest. If the results are like that over there at HtL, its likely even more skewed towards IT over here.

I guess it's true that the disgruntled people always voice their opnions louder than the (in this case, partly) content people...

Kinda makes you wonder how many people are lurking here and constantly reading our discussions and evidence, afraid to post because of the bullying by the disgruntled people.

WE LOVE YOU, LURKERS! :D

Added the below edit to my previous post...the thought just came in two parts :)

EDIT: Seems like there is more going on there...seriously could be that Bioware want more people to be able digest the information that is coming out of this topic.

Question to Anti-MPers: I've got to ask, why do some people dislike MP? Maybe it's as simple as an unstable internet connection, but I get the feeling it's a bit more than that. Believe it or not, Multiplayer actually fun in ME3 (probably because it's not Player vs Player). Are you dying often? Make sure you put all your skillpoints in increasing your sheilds/shield delay under Fitness for your selected character. If you don't like much in the way of using powers often take your favorite/strongest 2 weapons with you, if you Do want to use powers often (which I don't recommend for the first 5 or 10 levels, since skillpoint sshould be going into Fitness) maybe cut one weapon out to get that % boost. If you happen to run into a room full of annoying gamers don't forget you can leave anytime and search for another, most hours of the day/night there's plenty of other gamers playing. And be sure to set your difficutly search for Bronze difficulty until around level 17+ for your character, Silver and Gold don't mess around.

Just on this since you asked, my issue is that it now causes a delay of several minutes to log on to EA when I first sign into the game - I thought Origin was meant to be the end of that.

..and then If I want to play MP - I'll spend about 10 - 15 minutes just trying to get into a game - that usually when it connects, ends immediately with hosting player left before I've even seen my character on screen or a message about connection lost.

Gave up on it a few weeks ago. Have tried a few times since, but no dice.

Ultimately EA servers are pants. Had this problem with BF3 as well. Outside of EA servers - no issues what so ever.

Hey Guys, Just played ME2 DLC The Arival - during the scene where you find the reaper artifact and the bad guys are trying to knock you out, if you survive long enough for the Advanced mechs to come out Harbinger says:

"Struggle if you wish Shepard, Your mind will be mine!"

Then you wake up 2 days or whatever later, who knows what they did to his mind then, supports the indoctrination theory. I also remember the press b4 this was released they were saying this DLC was to kick start ME3. wonder if that line has more meaning than we realize :)

Correction, it has more meaning than the majority of the playerbase realizes. We realize it, though. :)

Heck, I'm close to one. I just voice my devil's advocate ideas, my personal interpretations, my observations during sessions, and yammer on about movies here and there.  I doubt I've contributed jack-diddly of any consequence.

I'm pro-interpretation, I can undoubtedly say that.

Use to lurk...found the theory too compelling not to become involved in the discussion.

Seems like a pretty strange poll to create if IT wasnt in the works, or at least on the table, though.

but if its on the table, that would mean your "clues" arent actually clues yet. the idt is about bioware having planned it from the start, wasnt it?

Anyone who posts here is a contributor, in most cases. At the bare minimum a post stimulates examination and following various trains of thought and different points of view. Heck, over half the things I've come up with came about because something someone else mentioned gave me the idea.

As I said in the other thread, there's a directness about him posing this question specifically that's pretty curious.

Depends on what you believe. Some people believe it was the original plan, and some people believe it just because it is better than what we were given.

Not really, it's a valid interpretation at the very least.

Alright, time to ignore the troll.  Wald isn't worth it.  Unless he brings up an actual point of discussion, ignore him.

anyways, the reason im actually here, is the interview with the alien guy who voices admiral hackett. he clearly hasnt played the game, but if you listen to him, he says:
"Usually, when a guy loses the game, the game shuts down; it's over. It's done. The players don't like that,"

he obviously hasnt played the game, but that doesnt change that the new stuff he recorded is for after shepards death (like we see in the ending), not for him being indoctrinated.

Yes, considering the feedback is polarized as far as I.T is concerned, then Bioware have a difficult decision to make, go with it and alienate a good portion of the fan base or decide against it, make I.T theorists look like idiots and deal with further back lash.
But if they have something else planned and it turns out better than I.T I'll stick around, if not, I'll be out, either way it will be closure for me.

Have some thoughts on Udina and material from the comics...we know that Udina was being influenced by Cerberus to attempt the coup (and I don't think that he was indoctrinated, just a pawn)...we also know that it was Udina who promoted Bailey after "finding" evidence against Executor Pallin (from the comics, right?)...and we know from ME 2, that TIM considered Bailey a possible contact to be able to spread Cerberus's influence of a pro-human agenda...my question, did Udina or TIM expect to have Bailey in pocket?

If so, does this contribute to fall of the Citadel? If not, then what resistance would Bailey be able to prepare? And how does this impact end of the game events invovling the Citadel?
