any actual good "evidence" recently, or is it just a continous discussion of nothingless- and clinging onto false hope?
I was really dead-set on IT being actually the real deal, but I've given up hope completely. The ending just flat-out sucked, and there was nothing deep about it. I mean, the emotion and musical empthasize from Sam Hullick work on the EC gives you the sense of conclussion.
Not some "more to come" after what we already got. Meh, could have been so much more, and better.
Indeed, the new EC soundtrack (for high EMS) has closure all over it. However, on low EMS you still get the original "An End...".
So yeah, now the last tracks in-game don't have the cliffhanger-y feeling to it, anymore. But this doesn't answer the following question: Why was it a cliffhanger in the first place?
Probably because originally they didn't say exactly what happened to many aspects and characters like the EC did. I think with the EC they wanted to make iron-clad sure that this is it.
Of course they didn't say too much pre-EC, this is also where the music fits perfectly, as it does now to the EC version.
What I'm wondering about is that you don't make a cliffhanger and then claim that you weren't aware that people would want 'more' closure and then announce 'unplanned' content that removes the cliffhanger.
Why have the cliffhanger in the first place then? The only reason I can think of is to get people speculating. And while people did that, they got the game that final finish the wanted in the first place.
