That's because in a way TIM is indeed your father. He rebuild you and provided the tech to rebuild you. Reaper tech? Who knows. I think it very well could be that TIM indeed used reaper tech to rebuild Shepard. Not to mention that Renegade Shepard in ME2 has exactly the same eyes, only red instead of blue.

The circles on the red eyes are the other way up, so it's not Shep's implants showing through.

Uhh wha? What are you talking about? Can you show this in a picture?

Anyway, it probably isn't indoctrination either. Probably just BioWare cutting corners by simply re-using TIM's eyes and re-using those eyes to make them look like Shepard's implants are showing through (because you know, Shepard's organic parts are slowly burning away first).

I can confirm that it's an entirely new texture to show reaper implants in the eyes ;)
If that's not a dead giveaway I don't know what is...

You mean these little husk tubes in the textures...?

Those are the ones.

@ heretic.

So your saying that a company wouldn't release a true ending dlc? Have you ever heard of a little game named Fallout 3, with its Broken Steel paid dlc?

Broken Steel did not offer a "true ending", instead it altered the ending where the protagonist died (so he didn't die) so you could continue your adventure.

Broken Steel is a post-ending expansion, not a "true ending" or a dramatically enhanced ending, or any form of expansion on the ending itself. Broken Steel is just a new chapter in the Fallout 3 story.

So yeah, bad comparison there mate.  Broken Steel isn't like anything you guys want with your IT stuff.

Nah, this is no threat to this thread (see what I...). As far as I remember it got pretty bad back then. This is nothing compared to it.

Heretic is right about this. Broken Steel was not planned but was a response to outcry over the ending. Bethesda admitted they made a mistake and fixed it...

That does not weaken IT though. Part of the appeal for me in buying ME2 DLC was that it would carry over with ME3. If bad writing theorists and literalists are correct any future ME3 DLC will not add any post ending content which limits its replayability and value IMO.

Tl:dr I'll buy ME3 DLC if it adds to ending otherwise NOPE.

WHEN Harbinger is face to face with SHEPARD. WHY at all the most times would Harbinger not kill SHepard. " Oh it's bad writing" BULL****. They could have not added taht in, but they did, and " Oh because Shepard is the main guy, and they can't kill him/her" Yes the Reapers can on Rannoch and Earth two Reaper Destroyers can kill you with one little touch of the death beam.

And " Oh Shepard is immun to Indoc" Bull****. If Shepard was then why the hell does Shepard see everyone dying and his friends under the infulce if you fail in the Arrival DLC.

Nah, Arian and Heretic didn't get along.

I don't think Heretic's a troll though, but they do seem to fall into the 'everyone who thinks differently must be wrong' camp, though so do some of us.

Well nobody is going to win because we believe in different things. So he should leave because he is not going to convince us that IT is wrong.

I feel that the fans just aren't satisfied for the ending, So they're looking for a deeper meaning in all this. Your imagination is fooling all of you, the Indoctrination Theory is laughible. Bioware didn't intend to do this, It's easy for BW to say "The ending doesn't suck as bad as you think, Artistic integrity, read between the lines!" because everybody hates their ending. If i'm home alone, and there is an open Coke on the counter that i didn't open, that doesn't mean my dog got it from the fridge and opened it. You're giving too much credit to Bioware for something they weren't even thinking about.

@Hanar - I was reading your posts, and the thing between you and masster is just a battle of opinion. Not about IT. It's good and alright for you guys to have your opinions, but we can go on about that all day. Hanar is obviously Renegade. Masster is Paragon. Neither are wrong. Both are entitled to their opinions.

BioWare when writing the game made it so that the game is open to interpretation. People can see the game however they want to. So people are free to believe what they want. BioWare even went the effort to neither say IT was true or not. Many ask why do this if IT was not true? Why not just say it is not? Being as many of us in here are understanding, I think we could accept that it is not true if BioWare provided a good enough explanation. (Which is entirely possible from a company that gave us such a good game.)

Someone must have opened the coke. Use the evidence to determine who it was, just as we use evidence to reach our conclusion, evidence that you haven't even touched upon while proving us all wrong in your meaningless post that says nothing of value.

They've proven to us before that they deserve the credit we're giving them.  You have not proven you deserve any credit, however.  So do spare us your dimestore psychology.

Lovely.

I think you'll find this very relevant to your point:
http://25.media.tumb...hmako1_1280.jpg

Also, get lost.
The ending was intended to be open to interpretation:
http://social.biowar...x/13088100&lf=8

And there are non literal interpretations to be made for certain things.

SDCC panel is tomorrow night (well, night my time) and we'll see if anything interesting comes up then.
Leviathan looks to be certain to have an impact on the ending in some way...

Bioware, before the game was even out, said that there was going to be more to the game than we just see. They said that not all of the game is going to be plain black and white. They even were experimenting with a mechanic in the game that Shepard loses his control of his body because of indoctrination. It was too dificult to impliment so they dropped the mechanic, but they didn't say they dropped the idea. If those are not a messages to read between the lines, what is??
