I refuse to spend a dime of real money for packs I can earn for free.
I spent about $50 on packs when ME3 was new. Not because I was impatient, I maxed out my tradeskills in EverQuest, which is a task so tedious it would send many to a padded room. Because I wanted to thank BW for all the enjoyment ME has given me over the past 5 years. Same reason I bought the Collector's Edition when I knew I had no use for the "extras" and bought that silly $40 guide I've barely opened.
Sadly as I'm getting more and more worried that they plan to leave IT ambiguous rather than do a followup, I'm regretting supporting the game more and more. *sigh* Especially the MP part since EA was too cheap to spring for proper hosting and instead left us with this pathetic, laggy, buggy quasi-client hosted system while still wanting us to give them microtransaction money.

I am assuming thats on a console cause I never seen that UI before lol. And that person playing Rio can't aim.
Yeah, definitely a console. 360 probably. No, he can't aim, but few people can aim well on a console. At least compared to a PC. Aiming with two analog sticks is so much harder than aiming with a mouse it's not even funny. I have the original ME on 360 and I often get my ass kicked on easy mode. I can handle insanity if I play it on PC.

I happened to play gold geth as well recently. Yes they're more annoying now. They still don't compare to frelling banshee/ravager/brute permaflood. Apparently the weakspots on banshees and ravagers are supposed to be bugs. Those bugs are the only reason beating reaper gold is even possible.
Banshees and ravagers yes, brutes don't bother me. I refuse to take an enemy seriously when he doesn't have any ranged attacks in a shooter. Brutes are just there to keep you on the move. Which is kind of silly since banshees have the same role but are actually scary.
Weakspots on banshees were removed in the last patch I thought. Ravagers are still weak if you hit them in the fleshy parts, albeit releasing swarmers in the process.
