I'm a pc gamer and that is totally too healthy looking. More hot pocket less veggie.

I've been eating ice cream for lunch! (The freezer needs defrosting)

By the Ancients, Heretic you're still posting here? Sorry, most adamant literalist move on by now and leave us to our speculating/grasping.

Anyway, Jade's theory is just a theory. much like the various Indoctrination Theories until proven otherwise, but seems plausable so far as I can tell.

Not STILL posting here, AGAIN posting here. ;) I've played some Zelda Majora's Mask and had a good night sleep between that post and my previous post. B)

And what can I say? This one loves messing with ya. :P

No but really, this one thinks the grasping at straws is quite hilarious, so by all means, continue.

It's 5am here in DC, I just downed a gallon of Arizona Diet Ice tea, can't go to bed now so I'm eating a chunk of reduced fat sharp chedder cheese and lite grape juice while talking about veggie straws and whether or not a character in a game I beat months ago was suffering from hallucinations (also browsing reddit). Man I need to get my life together or something. Also I'm an otter.

I think my depressing post inspired all the people on this forum to forget about IT and do something productive with their lives like curing cancer or finding ways to make veggie straws edible.

I like it. Think most of us can at least agree Bioware is up to something with all that marvelous DLC planned.

Have I missed any announcements?

Leviathan will be announced over the next 48 hours.

Did anyone ever discuss Freud and IT? I see a lot of similarities between the encounter with TIM, Anderson and the Freudian trio (ID, Superego, Ego). Being that IT states that it's all happening in Shepard's mind/brain there are a lot of hints. The superego is usually stated as the "father figure." I think it's safe to say that (at least for my Shepard, the orphan) that Anderson is in a lot of ways a father figure to Shepard. The superego is also supposed to be the conscience, to the very end Anderson was all about one thing: stopping the reapers at all cost.

TIM would make sense as the ID, the driving force driven by desires, in this case the desire to control, "I only wanted to protect humanity." There is also the death instinct...the task of which is to lead organic life back into the inanimate state" in which case no matter what dialogue options you choose TIM dies, or he kills Anderson, kills Shepard and all parts of his mind including TIM (ID) die.

Shepard would obviously represent the ego. The part that tries to reconcile the two, but fails.

Tl;Dr Reapers take over Shepards ID, Shepard-TIM-Anderson meeting is a representation of Shepard different parts of his mind battling it out.

EDIT: the reason I also mention this is Freudian Trio is a popular tool still used by writers-
