I actually suprised myself when I made a rating system for games and then put ME3 through it. It almost got a 7/10, and my gut feeling would have been a 6/10. In the end, the music and voice acting was too damn good to rate it lower.

Oh, and I might risk some Gold MP today. Probably public, due to how Origin hates me doing private games. Though I think I need to level up my Krogan Sentinel 2 more levels first.

Krogan sentinel is great for bronze and silver but you might want to consider a less melee-oriented character for the parade of banshees known as Reaper gold.

Go with 2 engineers and 2 with biotic skills. Then techburst/biotic explode away.

Or just invite me when im online and you think private might be possible. Let's hope not like the last time. :D

Ouch.  Good luck then, you're going to need it. :(  Banshees start at like wave 3 and never relent.

Attention Mass Effect fans!

The Romance DLC Survey ends today at 3pm EST.  Yesterday we were sitting  at whopping 7,500 responses! We're trying to get as close to 10K as we can!

If you haven't yet taken it, and are interested, PLEASE pop over there and take the survey (see link in my sig).  It will only take 5 minutes of your time...unless you like to make comments. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie]

Results will be analyzed statistically, summarized into a report, and sent to Bioware.  If you want to be heard on this issue, this is the best way to do it!

Please take the survey and spread the word:  https://www.surveymo...omancedlcsurvey

Hey, Heretic Hanar is badmouthing us in other threads now! What fun!

Personally I think they're the one grasping at straws because I've never had to 'jump through hoops' to explain anything.

There's nothing really left to discuss about the IT theory anymore, it's time to move on.

Except for all the things we've been discussing, creating hundreds of pages of course.

So we have to lock the tread because we aren't discussing IT at this point in time, when it's entirely possible that we may find more things in the future.

Entirely likely, given that the SDCC panel is today...

Yeah, I seemed to spend a good amount of time resuscitating you after you got slaughtered attempting to take down a Brute with a predator or some such :P
Speaking of which, I think I'll try a private gold match shortly, be ready :D

There is no sense in anything until you give it to it. If you don't want to see any sense, leave.

Sure sure, you are not jumping through hoops and grasping at straws, no of course not. We are the once who are jumping through hoops, us who just simply acknowledge and accept the endings for what they are.  Uhu, your reasoning makes perfect sense.:wizard:

Takes a little work and brain power to implement an interpretation of a piece of fiction, buddy.  Sorry to disappoint.

If we were talking about actual deep sci-fi literature (Dune, for example), I would have agreed. But we're talking about Mass Effect 3 here, a straight-forward popamole pew-pew blockbuster shooter game made by EA.
Mass Effect 3's writing just isn't very good buddy. Sorry to disappoint.

I said you were grasping at straws saying we were jumping through hoops since I've seen nothing of the sort. I did NOT say taking the ending at face value is grasping at straws because that would be ridiculous. Try actually reading my posts before taking swings at me.

Ahh, I've had a discussion similar to this with another poster, who used similar words as yours.  Seems to enjoy provoking others just about as much as you do, too. Hmm.

Guess what? Flawed fiction can have interesting points to interpret and dissect, too.  Wouldn't take THAT much thought to implement several of the ideas discussed in this thread, and not nearly the amount of hoop-jumping that you assert.  If you don't feel the same, then you really shouldn't involve yourself in this discussion and harassing others who are doing so.

Move along.

Lovely.
Great, we know what your opinion is. Most of us disagree.

This thread is supposed to be for discussion of indoctrination theory related things, evidence, plot points etc and although it's quiet as everyone's either doing the weekend challenge, getting on with their regular lives or lurking and waiting for the SDCC panel later, if you've got no intention of discussing any of the above at any point, then frankly you're in the wrong place. There are plenty of other threads in the forum where people would be more than happy to discuss what awful writers the bioware team are with you...

Trying to get bronze or silver games seems impossible today!

My poor Krogan had to solo a Bronze match. Got to wave 10, but then I couldn't handle two Primes at once...

I agree, the Mass Effect series is extremely deep and well crafted.  Just because 3 is more 'cinematic' doesn't reduce the series as a whole, its still got a very well crafted lore with semi-realistic technology (i.e. its fiction, but its explained well enough to 'make sense').  Its got extremely fleshed out and interesting characters at every turn.

Seems to me anyone who thinks less of the series wasn't paying much attention, and was just being wowed by the big bright explosions.
