I agree, the Mass Effect series is extremely deep and well crafted.  Just because 3 is more 'cinematic' doesn't reduce the series as a whole, its still got a very well crafted lore with semi-realistic technology (i.e. its fiction, but its explained well enough to 'make sense').  Its got extremely fleshed out and interesting characters at every turn.

Seems to me anyone who thinks less of the series wasn't paying much attention, and was just being wowed by the big bright explosions.

And they took mental bathroom breaks anytime a cutscene did not involve big bright explosions. Especially during ME1 and 2.

OK, just wondering if anyone knew what was going on there.  Also, I just watched some footage of one of the BW devs playing the new Slayer class.  He was on BRONZE, and got taken down on wave 3.  Against the Geth.  That's just sad.

Did you try my DNS server fix? If you try that and it has no effect, let me know, and I can help you explore other possibilities.

Was he playing solo? Playing solo has a totally different dynamic from playing with a full team. I win 9 out of 10 of my gold games, but am horrible playing solo games, even on bronze.

Wow, this forum confuses me sometimes. At least 90% of the threads are complaining about ME3 in one way or another, but when someone suggests maybe not buying the next DLC so Bioware/EA get a bit of a reality check everyone tears them apart.

He was playing with three others, including a KROGUARD!  He had NO excuse for dying.  Also, I managed to solo a match with my Geth Engineer once.  Thank the Devs for the shield restoring powers of the Geth Turret!

They were all BW devs, btw.

Doesn't surprise me.

If you try explaining it to any layperson, that's how the "indoctrination attempt" part of the interpretation comes across: stuff that happens in the mind that never really happens, and it's stopped when the "dreamer" wakes up.

So did I miss anything in the last 5 hours?? Other than Jade's theory on the dlc for the future. (I've been saying the same thing...no one listened!! Just like Shepard ... :'( ... WHY people?)

If you check all the videos on the new maps the names were interesting. One was michael, (Michael Gamble), one was BioWareDev8, and one was named JOHN (It was also a N7 soldier in Rio) I guess John (default manshep) did make it to Rio...where is Jacob then???

Dream isn't really the right term.  It doesn't convey the impact that what's going on in Shepard mind has on what will eventually be the real world.  Battle in the Center of the Mind would certainly be a more fitting page.

Don't worry, it makes a lot of sense to have this kind of DLC.
I've been reading some thoughts about this and I had my (similar) own like so many, which speaks for its viability. Sorry I did not reply to yours.

Building on the new extra ending with additional content is totally possible.
