You know, I can actually relate to cult people. Most of my friends believe I'm into occult because I don't worship the same gods as they do. They even call me a heretic. He's always wasting all his time preaching his stupid gospel at the presidium.  The police told hem several times that he's not allowed to preach in public, but he just doesn't listen. <_<

People think it is because they don't get it, or just hate that their Shepard could fall for that. Well you did by picking Control. Do you have any idea that who many humans it took to make Shepard a Reaper. Billions no millions billion. And in Synthesis you are making everyone live in a world that is not real. Everyone in the galaxy would still hate the Reaper, unless the Reapers took over everyones minds because we put the Reaper codes into everyone. Also how do we know that Synthesis is all that. For all we know they got Shepard hooked up to a mechian like Legion was by controling every thing in the galaxy buy using Shepard.

@pirate1802: Thanks for approving Control. I approve Synthesis too. At least I know I'm not the only person in this thread who supports endings other than Destroy. 

I support Destroy and Rejection too. IT FTW !!! But does IT really exclude Control and Synthesis from being valid choices? Not necessarily. IT simply states that the ending is an indoctrination attempt. It doesn't say you can't or shouldn't become indoctrinated.

Yet Paxxton do remember that Shepard becomes a Reaper, in which case took like the whole population of Earth too make Shepard the Reaper king. Also If Leviathan can go rogue. I think a lot fo Reapers will side with Harbinger and the Catalyst if something new arises.

Also does anyone think that If you become a Reaper you are missing the point that you don't just become a Reaper with one push of a bottun. It takes years to build a Reaper, and we all know that in control Bioware said Shepard becomes a Reaper.

Well, I think if in Synthesis all people will get an understanding that Reapers were tools of the Catalyst all the time, and only after Synthesis they became fully sentient, where shouldn't be many haters. Because Reapers were victims of some sort.

No it didn't. You see, my Shepard isn't a reaper, my Shepard is the Catalyst. Big difference. No humans had to die for that. If you think otherwise, please provide in-game sources to back up your claims.

Perhaps, but that is just baseless speculation on your part. Until you have any in-game sources to back this up, your speculation is worthless to me.

Gonna repost my question again. Did the Catalyst in EC not refer to the Crucible as essentially simply beeing a giant Battery? I cant quite remember, so if anyone could answer it would be nice

Actually, the Catalyst is not a Reaper per se. It's a metabeing (collective intelligence).

Also, Shepard isn't becoming a Reaper (despite what the enums in game files say). His thoughts are just made a blueprint for the new Catalyst (which is NOT a Reaper).

Of course, if the Catalyst manipulates Shepard, the above might turn out irrelevant.

It did, yes.

And some of us were guessing that it was that before anyway.  Would explain why its able to do things that the makers had no clue about, and how it can be used in three very different ways.

Which means a fourth option of turning it into an actual weapon isn't out of the question.

If I recall it good I think that the brat referred to a power source. I'll take a look on youtube and see if I can get a confirmation.
