Maybe Leviathan DLC at the end of the panel? Wonder how the Q&A is going to go too.

Hopefully better than the one at PAX...<_<

Estebanus is there, he'll hopefully get to ask a question.  I actually proposed one to him earlier via PM.  Basically, I suggested that he ask if the devs had any one specific interpretation of the endings in mind when they were making them.

Honestly the fact they have to explain the EC is showing us things decades and centuries into the future kind of suggests they didn't do a great job of explaining what was supposedly going on.

agreed

I third the notion.  The fact that this wasn't obvious when the EC was supposed to be offering "clarity and closure" suggests that something else was going on.

I don't think they meant it as a clarification and more a this is what we did in the EC ending. Like showing off your artwork to people.

Meep, looks like the SDCC talk is delivering the coup de grace to IT...

I dont see how.

Also:

"I also really liked the Rachni sequence where they move into Tuchanka, a different consequence and a pretty cool scene"

The **** is he talking about?

One of the slides in the EC. If you did not cure the genophage, killed Wrex and let Eve die, you see an empty Tuchanka wasteland with the rachni on it, making the wasteland their new home.

That doesnt even make any sense. The rachni already have a homeworld...

So they can't colonize new worlds? Why not? All other species do it, so why not the rachni?

Anyway, here's the slide:

*snip*

They can, sure, but it just seems forced that they randomly choose Tuchanka, the biggest deathball around. Why not choose a nicer world?

Can't see them answering that as people would then take that as the correct one and canon one, and they have stayed away from anything like that.

If you want to check out what's going on in the ME3 panel right now, this is what I was able to find:
http://www.newsarama...ent-future.html

Aaaaannd... haven't been here for the last couple of days, anything new regarding IT? discoveries or interesting ideas? (no Leviathan spoilers please)

Uh, there was some discussion about how there are no dream transitions (The fades to white.) in Destroy and Rejection.

Thanks, I won't jump with questions cause you already discussed it, but do you remember in what page was it? more or less...

Actually, if you believe Arian, it DOES.  Have you seen his ME3 marketing plan?

Yeah, I know.  I just thought it might be a worthwhile question.  You know, because we can't just ASK if IT is true.

The rachni live on worlds that are uninhabitable and dont really have a breathable atmosphere.

You forget that the rachni are fundamentally different from us. What is "nice" to us might not be "nice" to the rachni. Some species like dry places, other species like humid places. Some species live in the jungele, other species live in the desert.

I guess Tuchanka provides the ideal environment for the rachni species?

Yes, I love Arian's plan, I was just taking that as proof there is a narrative behind the MP from the writers?

the question would be "if they had one", not which one, and it's a good question - then we could speculate what they wanted the ending to be!

That would make sense.  You know, a little *wink wink nudge nudge* from the devs that we're somewhat right.

I honestly can't be bothered to keep up with what they are saying, it stinks of the last press converence. The fact the two lead writers are still hiding smells even worse.

I'll just read the highlights when its over.

Actually,it is since the krogan nuked their own world, and since the only thing that kept the atmosphere breathable(the shroud)is destroyed,it's practically a iradiated wasteland.

How doesn't it make sense?  Krogans got it in their head to wipe out the rachni again because every idiot krogan thinks it's krogan's birthright to do so, and the rachni kicked their sterile asses.

Bump because people don't seem to get the "it was a war" thing and this post got buried on past page.

It is in the future when the krogan are wiped out it is. I mean does that picture I posted earlier look like a habitable place with a breatable atmosphere to you? It certainly doesn't look like that to me.

OK, it's official.  Either Mac Walters wrote the ending by himself, away from anyone else, or they had a brilliant frakking idea.
