The Arrival was supposed to be in an underwater facility, no?

No, it was a rocky asteroid.

No, I'm pretty sure the original concept was for it to be at an underwater facility.

Your also forgeting even before they said that, they also said it was mean to be ambigous ie Open to more than one interpretation

BioWare thinks they're so smart and "deep" with their stupid ambigous crap, I'm getting kind of sick of it. BioWare needs to stop pretending their stuff is more than what it is. They're not smart and they're not deep either. They're just frustrating their fans who just want clear answers on some of the more important parts. I especially feel sorry for your ITers who are dying to know if the IT holds any truth or not (well, some of you are). This whole "omg we're so deep and ambiguous we must be really smart and good writers" bullcrap must be really annoying and painful for you guys. And I mean this in a friendly way this time, no pun intended.

The original concept for the beginning of ME2 also had Cerberus assemble a ship named Leviathan instead of a new Normandy...if I remember reading it correctly somewhere.

Hmm.  Okay, though how would it be used to destroy the Alpha Relay?

Sympathies to all, but I don't know why you thought they'd actually do or say anything worth repeating at another con.

If you wanna play some MP with me and BleedingUranium, we're on now. Maybe you can fill me in on the panel as I wasn't here today.

And yet another pointless fan Q&A...

I'm seriously getting pissed off at Bioware's stance on everything to do with ME3.

Speculations, speculations, oh, and of course, more Speculations!

Don't they realise that the longer they have us all speculating about some of the key points of ME3 the more pissed off we'll get, which of course will undoubtedly lead to another massive s**tstorm on the forums?

BTW does anyone here know if they're going to be gamescom this year? If so then I'll be showing up there with a loooong list of questions.

Well, I already got past the 'being pissed off' limit, I already was before I found out about IT, now I remain calm. But the one thing I started noticing in the last few weeks is:
I'm begining to feel tired sometimes.
The initial awe about the possibilities of IT is gone while new content is not really there. So the only thing keeping me is this awesome thread full of mostly friendly people and the MP.

Maybe in a future not so far away, there's gonna be SP content with more fodder for speculations. Otherwise...hm...

I hear you. It’s becoming such a struggle to remain hopeful about anything to do with this series now.

"Underwater atlas"

OMG JUST WHAT I NEED <3

Seems we might possibly finally save my homeworld from the reapers in future ME3 DLC! :wizard: That's epic! This makes me a happy Hanar! :D

I'm fairly certain that Leviathan is supposed to take place on a water covered asteroid or something, and not on Kahje

Most likely a multi-stage mission, going from Aequitas to a mining base on an asteroid in the system, to somewhere with deep water where the Leviathan itself is located, maybe in another system.

Yeah yeah sure sure, when it doesn't support your theory it says nothing, but when something completely unrelated does seem to support your theory you guys go all like "OMG MORE EVIDENCE FOR THE IT!" <_<

Isn't that pretty much what you guys do? If it doesn't support the literal interpretation you often dismiss it as bad writing.

The panel basically boils down to

Q: "Where are my sexy female turians, Bioware? I've clearly never seen the actual art of female turians, or I wouldnt be so obsessed with them!"

A: "Maybe female turians someday!"

Q: "MOAR COMICS?"

A: "MOAR COMICS!"

Q: "How can I get a job at BioWare?"

A: "Come to every one of our conventions ever!"

Q: "Whats up with the breath scene?"

A: "Lots of speculation from everyone!"

I dismiss pretty much the majority of ME3 as bad writing, even when it does support the literal interpretation of the story. That's because the story just isn't that great, no matter how you choose to interpretate it.

The story kicks butt.  That is all.
