Was the Ending a Hallucination? - Indoctrination Theory Mark II!

Either I could enshrine Bioware as the perfect incarnation of Sci-Fi, and continue to enjoy Mass Effect with unabashed enthusiasm,
Or I could simply, finally, place them on the same pedestal as Star-Wars prequel-era George Lucas. Something I could live with, but I wouldn't be happy about it.

Maybe things will look better in the morning.
Night all.
Stand strong. Stand together. Hackett out.

Well, Mass Effect is the only series which got me emotional attached. No other series/game(s) did it. It might be a lot harder for me to let it rest in peace.Arian Dynas wrote...

IT is the only shimmer of hope for me. Seeing it getting crushed by couple answers would be... well.

I wasn't bashing PTSD or anything, what I meant is when you first play the game, you're not supposed to think the dreams were indoctrination attempts, and I doubt anyone did the first time.Arian Dynas wrote...
No. No it's not, seeing as bad dreams while a symptom of PTSD, are just as easily a symptom of a bad cheese sandwich and alot of guilt.

Okay, I'm interested. What exactly did masster blaster had in mind? How will both IT and non-IT work together? And if they will, what do you hope will come of that?
Basically from what i can tell is, He wants the Literalists and the IT crowd, to put our differances aside and just try to compile all data we have found (both for and against) to find what is the TRUE ending.
And somehow force BioWare to listen to us due to our new united strength.
The really, truly funny irony here?

And man, I try to defend BW when literalists come with the "BW just sucks" responses, but multiplayer is making it really hard.

Pardon me Paxxton, What is CUT short for? I assume you are not speaking about the extended CUT

CUT is short for Complete Unification Theory. It will unite everybody on BSN under a single interpretation of the Mass Effect 3 ending. It will be like the Unified Field Theory for Physics. I don't know yet when it will be published.Dam0299 wrote...

It could be a hallucination, as in Shepard just has a skewed vision of reality. Well, more skewed he does already.
I personally don't believe that, but it's possible.

It could be a hallucination, as in Shepard just has a skewed vision of reality but is still up and walking around. Well, more skewed than it is already.
I personally don't believe that, but it's possible.

I've thought it was like that, up until the laz0r where it becomes a full blown dream.

Raven, I think that everything after the MAKO crash is a dream and everything before that is partly hallucination. But then, I'm also working on a theory about the dream beginning much earlier.

It's certainly possible, although I have a hard time believing the ENTIRE game is a dream, mostly because that's a lot for Shepard to imagine, and, personally, I don't want the Tuchanka and Rannoch missions to not be real. But certain things, like the last Datapad message and the disappearing bench, do point towards something being up.
And my theory was actually going to suggest that Shepard was knocked out right after destroying the Hades Cannon, which is why Anderson's shuttle shows up out of nowhere and it explains the weirdness at the FOB, because if it was just heavy hallucination, you'd think that somebody would come and ask Shepard why he was acting so weird.
