reading too much into things can be pretty bad...IT is just that...a fan reading too much into a game...

No your brain has to try to make sense out of it. So it comes up with this way of letting Walters and Hudson off the hook with this stupid Indoctrination Theory. I prefer a different theory that's based on fact: The Can't Write Endings For **** Theory. But face it, BioWare has always been great at writing characters and not so great on writing plot and story.

The Can't Write Endings for **** Theory has no more basis in true fact than IT. And the fact that this someone has never been in contact with IT actually provides a baseline for its legitimacy as a theory. No previous Bioware product has been bad enough to the degree that we'd have to "look for anything that can remotely make any sense out of it" before, not even DA2 (which was bad, but at least it made sense. ME3 did not until, debatedly, the EC, and even then it was still questionable). Historically we know that Bioware is capable of closing a story without completely screwing it up, so why should this case be any different? That is unless they were trying to do some great, mysterious mindscrew twist, and just completely failed at it (hence the formation of IT and various other theories).

The quality of storywriting and endings is completely subjective to each individual player. What you think is crap might be awesome for the rest of us, and vice versa. 

For the record, my personal opinion on their actual storywriting ability is that they are competant. They can write an acceptable, understandable story that is overshadowed by brilliant characters and Fridge Brilliance/Horror. The actual plot itself isn't all that amazing, but it's certainly not bad, either (again my personal opinion).

not really surprised actually. For alot of ppl outside of this thread IT is officially dead

As to the bolded...I did say IT or anything else (even if there was a slight typo there).  I guess I was hoping for more of an open discussion about the game.  From what I saw of the coverage of the panel, it seemed like there was a lot of specifically directed discussion.  Not that the discourse was bad...I am just hoping that at some point we get the "ok, here is what we intended moment"...

And lastly, for a theory to truly die - it most be disproven.  And there is nothing that we have seen or heard (in game or out of game) that does this.  IT lives on.  

In fact i've seen some new "proof" (if you wanna call it that) with the whole "serve us"  line that Harbinger says before he Lazors Shep. Anyone else seen that?

Yes and it's still being tested even though harbinger says Serve us to Shepard.

Masster, while I commend you for your attempt to make peace between the different factions of the BSN, I'd like to remember you that it might be a little bit too early for this.
If someone is really interested in the IT, he'll easily find the thread. Let every one see the ending as they see fit.

I only recently witnessed those MIND-BLOWING slideshows Bioware gave us.

Oh have you seen Coats on the Citadel. It's weird because he's the Soldier that his helmet is being removed by a keeper. When Sheaprd goes up to the Citadel.
oh and found out that it's Shepards helmet in the EC files on the Helmet the keeper holds.
