Alright everyone, ease up on alienated. I know he's not exactly being... polite, but... Oh frak, I want to give a justification, but honestly, I'm as frustrated with these kinds of guys as you are. However, there comes a point where enough is enough.

There is a reason the ending is as it is. If Bioware had "done right" the first time around, then starchild wouldn't exist. We would have had a completely different ending where you don't get to choose what coulour the crucible should fire. We would have a completely different ending. The endings as we have now are intentionally ambiguous.

Actually, it's kind of the opposite. The EC gives players/Shepard's exactly what they want so they 'believe' there is closure... if you want to call it something believable. It's exactly what the process of Indoctrination seems to do in order to alter the thought patterns of an individual, thus aligning their way of thinking with the Reapers.

I'd say this was more of a trolling on literal interpretation. As many have pointed out, the EC actually strengthened the idea that Shepard is being subjected to the process of Indoctrination.

again...you should use words you know of...I didnt insult anyone...I was simply giving my opinion of the IT...not to the disrespectful people like you that force people out of here and then you guys wonder why more and more people hate IT and are constantly disproving it....

Yeah, there is a lot of new stuff. Some blatantly obvious like the evac scene or the mechanical wake-up noise, some more subtle like the music/feel of the endings.

I wouldn't say sinister exactly (refering to Control I assume), definitely suspect though.

Oh, remember in that Q&A yesterday they mentioned those slides show progress from years to decades. I find that interesting since the Shepard Alive bonus scene takes place after every slide and Memorial Wall scene.
