Isn't the model for the control rods labelled 'bad'?
Interesting choice of words

That throws up the question: why did someone at BioWare label Control (or at least that rod) as bad?
Mere opinion couldn't it be, right?
Yes, the music is very sinister.MaximizedAction wrote...

Well...with the EC, the soundtrack of Control is also very Saren-y, isn't it? It's nowhere said to be a bad ending (just like keeping the Collector's base wasn't), but it's all in the details.
The Control option is also labeled as "BecomeAReaper". Well, I thought we'd become the Catalyst?MaximizedAction wrote...

Note destroy is the only one were the narration calls it a victory.MaximizedAction wrote...

You might want to add here, that they seem to resemble Ashley and Kaidan.RavenEyry wrote...
I just felt like writing up a list of
all the oddities with the ending. It's not meant to preach or analyze,
and wont go over stuff like circular logic and thematically
innapropriate, just the stuff that makes the everything post
Harbinger-deathray seem like a dream, whether through intoxication,
indoctrination, cheese before bed, an opium bender, whatever.
-Piles of 2D bodies (present before laz0r, so bad riting lolz)

Weird "coincidence" then nontheless.RavenEyry wrote...
I mentioned the phoenix armour on the citadel ones. I think them representing Kaidan and Ash is pretty subjective.
If the endings turn out to be taken literally, I'll change my choice from Destroy to Control, because I don't want the geth and EDI to be dead.paxxton wrote...

Final complete destruction of the reapers so they may never threaten anyone again isn't a victory?paxxton wrote...

No. Because you are wasting the chance to eat a cookie and have a cookie with Control.RavenEyry wrote...

I'd rather have to repair a few synthetics than live in a police state.UltimateTobi wrote...

Not really the place for this discussion, but destroy is unabiguously good. Control is a gamble at best.paxxton wrote...

If the geth consensus is still existant, then yes. If not, they're not the geth anymore.RavenEyry wrote...
