Yep hence why I think we need to take a picture, of the Conduit, and see if it matches this circled curved shape.

Funny that you guys are mentioning this - because that's what I've been doing for the past hour.

Nothing conclusive yet though.

To be more precise - I was wondering if it could be that:

Not really, but I was talking about the Conduits curves.

You know it occurred to me we are only analyzing the first part of the Breath scene, and not the other parts of the Breath scene. Maybe there are more clues in the rest of the Breath scene?

The pics look like the side part of the conduit towers from the conduit run.

I don't see that at all. The structures around the conduit have lots of curves, where the debris here look a lot like slabs of flat walls and floors. Since it was already proposed (much debatably) that this was "concrete" surrounding Shepard, I doubt changing guns on this idea now is a good idea.

I still don't see why that is part of the conduit.

If it is then why is it in the pile of ruble?it did not explode.

Also a strange thing to me about this is why there is no light.Shep is right in front of the thing.there should be a bright light in that scene.

For me the sounds coming from this scence (before music was added)sound like they are more inside then outside.
If shep is outside then there should the sound of a sharp wind in the backround or something.

As said, watch the scene and look at it, not just at random screenshots. Even with the haze it's very clear if you just look at it.

I did, and it still doesn't really show anything at all bar some rubble, mist and Shepard.

Its vague on purpose.  Why do you think they made it an actual FMV?  So we couldn't flycam it.  They wanted it to be unclear.

You seem not to know how much power you need for such a haze that has no uniform distribution. Just look at the dust surrounding Shepard after beaming up to the Citadel if you need a comparison of what's feasible in real time to have the game run smooth on most PCs/XBox. The Bunker scene or whatever it's called (after rejecting with the Liara hologram) is also a movie, because it's much smaller as there is no interaction anyway. I don't think BW cares much about flycam.

So by that logic they would've made the jungle planet crashlanding exit prerendered too, if it didn't have so many variations....

Also if it's on the Citadel it should be bright, but it's not. And in fact that since you are in outer space you should be able to have light.

I'm going to die if I look again at these scenes, I've been looking into that for weeks! I saw the debates around the "rebar vs Citadel cables", the "concrete vs rubble", the "mako vs structure", the "Shepard vs any N7 soldier", etc. But feel free to bring that up again, for myself I'm going for a dive in the pool before I melt in front of my PC. Maybe tonight, if I have time, I'll post some pictures.

Good afternoon!

So, what have I missed in the last day?

Also, I'm currently talking to you guys from an airplane, which I think makes me the first person to post in this thread from 10,000+ feet in the air.

You almost got it, it's just above Shepard's head, to the right. Try to raise the brightness just a little bit to show the features.

Could be - but highly speculative at this point.

My problem with this whole thing is that the rubble in the sequence definately looks like concrete - and I'm also focusing on the backdrop - which some people have started to discuss as being a Mako.

More to come as I run the sequence through a couple of filters...

Where Shepard is at/surroundings, and a symbol that is on a piece of a rubble, that looks like human sign, no 1M1, but an Alliance symbol.

And the symbol, is greenish.

Yep in this thread, but not when we count the last one as I had a trip to Japan some time ago in which I posted while flying there.

To me this scene makes no sense.

But if shep is not one the citedel,an he is not by the beam,

Where is he?

I don't see why the fact it's dark vs bright can give any clue : the big structure was blown up, big chunks of debris flew around the place, Shepard is "under" the Presidium tower, towards "Earth", why should there be more light than what we see? The crucible already shut off, so where would any more "light" come from?

but did you notice that there is a symbol on the one of the rubble's and I can tell you no symbol is on the Citadel, where Shepard picks Destroy.

I don't know, I'm pretty HIGH right now :bandit:...JK!!!

In the decision chamber I don't see anything that could be concrete except maybe the floor. I would find it hard to believe that the floor exploded upwards and covered Shepard.

No. You can see that it's a flat circular surface in the Breath Scene, a single one.
